Lions has the part where the wife strings the husband up in a barn and beats him around a bit. Nothing that strange considering some of the more bizarre SFF stuff out there now.

There is banner ad popping up occasionally today that complete nullifies any ability to use the site. It completely takes over the scrolling and any attempt to scroll away from it fails. Of course as I type this it hasn't happened again but all day today its been impossible to do anything when that ad comes up, its some video ad that's tiny too so I can't figure out what its for. If it pops up again I'll see if I can take a screenshot but the way my life goes it was probably just fixed as I type this.

I'm getting redirected like crazy today. I'll try and capture the url if I can but its been real bad, almost unusable. Weirdly, I was just reading an article about how sneaky and annoying phishers have been getting with t hings lately.

Yeah it stopped for a bit but just got one a few mins ago.

Getting the You Have Won An Amazon Gift Card redirects as of today, although it's not doing it constantly like before. On an iPhone in safari. As someone with a very small background in web dev I understand how hard it is to pin those fuckers down though, particularly since I imagine it's coming through the ad service.

I am getting the "you have won a 1000 dollar gift card" ads today as well. This one doesn't even wait for me to click on a topic, it just auto redirects straight from the main page. Edit: Thats using safari on my iphone over wifi.

Well I'm enjoying the shit ot of Last Light of the Sun , which is nice. My experience with books.authors you should have read omg why haven't you read X yet has been not good this year.

Mieville is another author I need to give a second chance to. I was... not a fan of King Rat, but from what I understand that one was not characteristic of his work at all.
