  1. Ah, Cersei and Oberyn on a power walk. Mention of Sand Snakes, woo-hoo!
  2. I think everyone's relieved to have a new king instead of Joffrey.
  3. Is there any definite information on TV-Tommen's age? Not the actor's, but the character's age. It would be interesting to know. Did I miss a mention of it in the show?
  4. The Freys solved the same problem with poor Greywind quite easily. Unless the mutineers have no arrows or spears.
  5. Yes, the Lord of the High Cheekbones is being unpardonably wasted.
  6. Not a favorite episode of mine. In fact, I don't think it was a particularly good episode. No Arya, Hound, or Oberyn. Deviating from the books in that Sansa is much more vocal and definite in her distrust of Littlefinger. Why was Craster's last son still alive when the Other brought it to the Great Other Ice Hideout - a newborn, insufficiently wrapped up (chest and and hands exposed), survives for hours in freezing weather? Was the poor kid a super-baby? It should have been at the very least blue-lipped and unconscious by the time they Other'd it. Why had the mutineers gone to the trouble of keeping Ghost alive and caged? Planning on running a zoo, perhaps? Or to lure Jon Snow and some friends to come for him - why? Made no sense to me. Or were they planning on eating poor Ghost? Margaery is just so super-cute and charming that she waltzes into the bedroom of the child heir to the Iron Throne late at night unchallenged? The Queen of Thorns is going home; too bad; I wanted to see a conversation between her and the Red Viper - who's more deadly, at least in terms of conversation? On the plus side, I loved the Grey Worm/Missandei conversation. And Brienne's new armor is gorgeous.
  7. The writers may not have believed that the Jaime/Cersei sex was rape, but it certainly looked and sounded like rape to me, what with Cersei saying 'no', 'it's not right', and 'don't' and Jaime saying 'I don't care'. Loved the Shireen and Davos scene. Gets me hoping more than ever that the two characters survive the series and that Shireen at least gets to be Lady of Dragonstone (or Storm's End or even Queen). Creepin' Littlefinger indeed, practically breathing down Sansa's neck.
  8. He should have kept the necklace, then; and sunk Dontos' corpse in the water, not left it in a boat that could float ashore.
  9. Could Littlefinger be creeping any closer to Sansa? :ack: And why did he throw the necklace onto Dontos' body? Does he want Sansa blamed for Joffrey's death for all time?
  10. That's one problem in making Tommen, what, 12 or 13 instead of the 9-or-10-year old I think he was supposed to be at Joffrey's death; it will be less believable that Tommen, as King, will still act in a childish way. This boy looks a bit too old to be outlawing beets and getting pleasure banging down the royal seal and playing with his kittens. Tywin wasn't wrong, necessarily, but he came off as rather self-serving, as if he was practically directing the kid to shut up, appoint Grandpa Hand, and do what the Hand/Council says forever.
  11. The lean-faced guy with the mustache, kinda good-looking?
