We’ve been heavily linked with him so that makes sense. I don’t know enough about him honestly but if he’s a similar profile, I’m all for it. I’ve seen him play a few times and was never impressed but could have just been the game state or talent around him.

I hear you. I don’t have a good answer either but man, it’s a need. Thought Rice did a lot more carrying forward this game than he has done and that is really useful (see Trossards first goal). I also think Partey reads the game super well so when he intercepts, he immediately looks forward which is unique in this side. I don’t know what we do but we need a Partey replacement somehow. Makes us so much better. Wonder if it’s a spot Timber could play…

This was a sick bit of skill up until he decided to shoot near post (and miss goal) from a terrible angle vs shooting far post. If he shot it across, he scores. I do wonder if he is capable of getting better at finishing. It's one of those things that requires speed of thought, technique, instinct, slow heart rate... I don't know. We've seen a number of players who are really good never become prolific because they just can't keep their calm in front of the goal and I doubt it's for lack of training. On the Arsenal front, Partey really does make this team a lot quicker and more fluid. His desire to take one or two touches and immediately push the ball forward is a welcome change and allows Odegaard to receive the ball in more space and more dangerous positions. I can't believe yesterday was the first time we started a Rice, Partey, Odegaard midfield since Community Shield. I really hope they sign a similar profile to Partey this summer so they can finally let him go. The team just looks significantly more balanced with him in the side. Jorginho was able to replicate that a few games but he hasn't been as consistent with speed of release as Partey is. I suspect if we played Partey to start in the 2nd game against Bayern, we would have had a better shot.

Man, we looked good. Nice to see us so fluid after how slow we were during the Wolves match.

That Jackson challenge was insane. I love VAR. Didn’t even look.

There is a lesson here… playoff basketball more important than gf unless said gf is watching with you.

I couldn't even tell he was offside, even with lines drawn. So harsh.

Arsenal players are so tired. Still found a way to win. On we go.

Knicks would have been favored over Magic, Pacers, and Heat. My point was more that by the Knicks getting the 2nd seed, they're playing the hardest possible opponent. That being said, think Knicks win. Embiid wasn't great against the Knicks in Jan. We have two physical centers and he didn't look great last night. Think we can bully him and stop Maxey with OG.

Love that right now, 76ers, as the 7th seed, are favorites over the Knicks, the 2nd seed. Pretty much 50/50 but slight favorites. Hilarious.

Garbage. We are so fucking slow.

Call Out To The Fallout (Amazon Prime show)

I liked inception And yes, Person of Interest is amazing. Shining example of building a network show that includes a case of the weak and a broader storyline that becomes increasingly important as the show goes on. -
This is a frustrating game.

Nah. They got better when they traded for OG. When OG, Randle and Brunson were playing, they were 17-2 or something like that. Then Randle went down, then OG and then pretty much everyone so at one point, it was Brunson and a bunch of back ups. In 2024, Brunson's +/- is the best in the league, even better than Jokic. His impact is MVP and All-Pro level. I do agree that they're not really a contender and also agree they can beat anyone but likely not 4 times. So we're aligned there. With Randle, think they could have beaten anyone but with this team, think it'll be tough. One more scorer would be helpful.
