I imagine they had to make it clear for the Unsullied. Catelyn died 8 episodes ago? The look on her face was brilliantly done. It was perfectly delivered by both of them, although I have noticed LF seems to talk out the side of his mouth, which is a little off putting. Didn't particularly like the Snow Castle scene. It was OK. Good bits: 1. Tyrion/Oberyn was brilliant. The building emotion on T's face when O is speaking and the way O picks up the torch so his face is lit up when he says "I'll be your champion". Good stuff. Great direction. That single section said a lot about Oberyn, Tyrion, Jamie and Cersei. 2. Liked Bronn explaining his rationale to Tyrion, but obviously feeling bad about it 3. The NW scene was well done. 4. The looks between Tyrion and Jamie, discussing how awkward it would be for Tywin if Jamie said he'd be Tyrion's champion. 5. Pod, Pie and Brienne. Great scene. Loved the interplay now between Pod and Brienne. It works really well. Loved the looks they had when HotPie sat down and started talking about gravy, etc. Sticking points: When did Arya become Aya? Mountain 3 is stupidly big and I was sitting there thinking he was going to be given only 1-2 lines....and sure enough. And yes, that whole scene was ridiculous. We know from previous series that he's a monster. We've already heard about the Hound being shoved in the fire, him raping and pillaging (remember the guy with the bag of fish) and he chopped the head off a frigging horse!

I only gave it a 7 and I'll tell you why. I just didn't rate the acting in some scenes. I felt the Danny and Hiz scene was just odd. Their acting just didn't quite sit right with me. It was lacking a little something, a little too affected. The looks from Selmy and Jorah were good, though. Plus, it made no sense as to why Hiz needed a translator when he then goes on to speak fluent Westerosi. The trial was well played out and Lena and Charles Dance were great. Plus the chap who plays Jamie. I just didn't believe Dinklage's performance. It was really good, but again, was just lacking a little I don't know what. I liked the Asha scene. Her, Alfie Allen and the chap who plays Ramsay - all did brilliantly, but the fighting looked fake. The chap who plays Ramsay and Alfie should definitely figure for awards. The scene with him and Alfie was great. The little nervous looks really made it. Ramsay's eyes. His unspoken unpredictability. Brillant casting. I liked a lot of the little touches. Oberyn was great too. Look at Lena Headley's hand at the end of the trial scene and her facial expressions. Same goes for Marg. Great skill in conveying feelings w/o doing much. Good, subtle acting skills. Always love watching Varys too. Loved the scene with him and Oberyn as it raised a lot of qs regarding his true objectives.

Just checked and in the Ramsay hunting scene, the Myranda character, played by Charlotte Hope is the same as the one who starts riding Theon, before Ramsay castrates him in S03. The girl they hunt is not the blonde from the same scene. She's a minor character, called Tansy.

There is a gem missing. Watch QOT's right hand. She touches Sansa's braids and then the necklace. In the next shot, it looks like a stone is missing on Sansa's left side. Then the QOT makes a funny movement with her right arm (you can see her elbow go back) as she passes Joffrey's table and you can actually hear a little "clink" as something gets dropped into a cup.

Did no-one else notice the little jokes (not the dwarves themselves, I mean), but the little things like the Joffrey dwarf having a lion's head with antlers, the Stannis dwarf getting shot and then exploding with green wildfire (he's also "riding" Melisandre), the reference to the Drowning God in the Balon Greyjoy dwarf screaming "I'm drowning" and best of all, the Renly dwarf who gets hit on his bare a**e by Stannis.(wearing a red heart on his armour) who is saying to Renly "Are you liking it?" and Renly is riding what can only be Loras (blonde curly hair)!!! Fascinating seeing everyone's reactions too. Oberyn quietly, unsmiling, just observing, Pycelle clapping, Varys - unamused with his eyes shut, Sansa staring into space, Tommen laughing and then seeing Tyrion and immediately stopping, Tyrion and Cersei enjoying it, the Tyrells completely unamused, Loras storming off, Joffrey giggling like a child..... it was brilliant!

OMG! I completely missed that (and I shouldn't considering my avatar and username), but yeah, that's brilliant.... haha!
