  1. Again, I am not arguing the diminishing quality of the source material, believe me I get it, my only point is "diminishing quality of the source material" has nothing to do with the poor quality of season 5, the reason is simple, D&D almost use none of the original source material, they create their own stories instead, so the poor quality is on D&D, not on GRRM
  2. I am tired of this ridiculous, but OK, I could be very patient sometimes, so let us go over again "if three of the key characters in the first 4 seasons have to be killed off because they have been killed off in book 3, that means they can't be used in season 5, which doesn't' help in keeping momentum., blahblahblah", OK, I am with you, that is GRRM's decisions, GRRM is bad, that has nothing to do with D&D, that of course makes D&D's job not easy for this season, if they choose to follow GRRM's Story in book 4 and book 5 and it sucks, that will be GRRM's fault, but NOOOOOO, D&D decided to make their own stories for this season, so of course it will be D&&D who have to take the responsibility for this folly
  3. Are you working for D&D or HBO or something? It is rather things to read this kind of non sense again and again, let me ask your: 1) we are talking about the 5th season of game of throne, not the song of ice and fire novels, yes? 2) Do you agree D&D made a decision to deviate from the novel so dramatically that the stories of this season almost have nothing to do with the original novel? 3) Since D&D decided to create their own stories for this season, then even the late two novels suck big time, what does that have anything to do with the failure of the 5th season of game of throne ?
  4. I am amazing how much distance people would go to excuse D&D's bad decisions, how could you blame the source material when D&D hardly use original source material and decide to create stories of their own?
  5. I don't think Sansan thing is a major factor, It is more about the general low quality of this season, and the episode 6 is especially bad, what would expect from audience to the horrible scenes of the Dorne and King's landing? I guess that is why HBO decides to air episode 7 on memorial weekend, they expect the big drop the TV ratings, and they can say it is all because of holiday weekend, that excuse may give them breath room, and hop the ratings would rise in the next Sunday
  6. Well, Last week’s “Game of Thrones” was the least-watched and lowest-rated episode since the third season finale. This week’s episode delivered even weaker numbers. Airing on the eve of Memorial Day, Sunday’s “Game of Thrones” drew a 2.53 adults 18-49 rating with 5.40 million viewers. Both numbers are the lowest drawn by a season five–or season four–episode. http://headlineplanet.com/home/2015/05/27/ratings-hbos-game-of-thrones-sinks-to-another-two-year-low/
  7. Don't you think the meet of Tyrion and Danny so underwhelming?
  8. It is a medium well, but nothing extraordinary, I do like Sam scenes, but nothing else could impress me, the Dorn scenes are as dull as usual, the fighting pit scene and introduce Tyrion to Danny is so underwhelming

  10. you can not have 1/10 and 10/10 removed after so many people vote 1/10
  11. Yes, and I will say further that even without that final scene, the quality of this season is still miserable
  12. I guess all of the budge goes to finding exotic filming location and fancy wardrobe, and I doubt that is why they kill off Barristan Selmy so that they can save a few bucks
  13. No, Balon attacked North because the North is at her weakest point, and he bet correctly the North would lose the war
  14. To be fair, the right way to say is that this is the worst episode so far in the worst season of the series so far
  15. Arys did not simply tell a lie, you have to read book to know what are these water about and what is the purpose of the faceless men and their religion, the TV show does a terrible job on this
  16. They can not act, yest, but they do not ask much for salary, so this show could save money to invest in exotic locations and fancy wardrobe
  17. Then what would be her adventure? Some cheap shots invented by some TV writers who I never heard of? And the TV show not even bother telling us what the house of white and black and the God of many faces are about, if you never read the book, you would think them are just some "cool" organization of professional killers for hire
  18. "A girl is not ready to be a faceless man, a girl is ready to something else", you understand by this, the show is ready to ruin Arya's adventure in the house of black and white?
  19. The showrunners of this show now have chips on their shoulder after the huge success in the previous seasons, and now they spend way too much money and time into exotic locations and fancy custom, and overlook the plot which ought to be the life of any shows, I wish and pray HBO would hear the outcry of fans, and save this show from ruining, I now have no hope for this season, but I still have hope that next season this show will be back to the track, but first I want to see some heads rolling.
  20. I do not like episode 4, but this actually makes sense, Jaime was in a secret mission in the Dorn, if he somehow disappeared, Dornishmen could claim they never see him hen held no responsibility for his demise who could be well be drown in the sea wreck, however that would not work, if that sea captain lives and tell everybody Jaime is in Dornish
  21. The scoring will drop if D & D decide that they would further part way from the novel
  22. And I do not like the way Ser Laras was protraited either
  23. I don't understand why they decide to portrait high sparrow and faith militant as cult
  24. That is not true, in the book, the NW repulsed Mance's first attack, but casualities of the wilding was not great (around 200-300), and as Mance told Jon, the first attack was just a probe, if NW do not yield, he would order attack on different location along the wall at the same time, and besides he had the Horn of Winter. So it was indeed Stannis's surprise attack save the wall
  25. I feel a little let down about the moon door scene, they should let Lysa tells us what happenes between littlefinger and her, forced abortion of her child, forced to marry to an old man she did not love etc. that would be much more powerful, now in front of us is just a crazy jealous woman and nothing more
