I'd just like to say that I've been listening to AFfC on CD (the original one read by John Lee) and when I came to the line about "Thuderbolts, Blue Beetles and Green Arrows" I cracked up laughing. I had to scan back and listen to it three times to make sure I hadn't imagined it. As for the thunderbolts, I don't know if this has been mentioned already (I looked, but can't be sure I didn't miss it), but I think it is in reference to Peter Cannon, Thunderbolt, who (like Blue Beetle) was published by Charlton Comics in the 1960s. Martin was a known Charlton reader, having had at least one letter published in their comics. Anyway, I thought it as awesome.
