  1. I know... lmao. The show runners really dropped by ball.
  2. They couldn't have made that finale worse if they tried.
  3. FFS, most Stannis fans like myself are mad that they did this so damn early. To get Winterfell? He burns his daughter? Please.... This is an indication that Stannis will die much sooner in the show than in the books. Heck, I have a feeling that the show will kill Stannis next week (by Brienne most likely). I myself hope they go ahead and be done with it. They already butchered the character.
  4. What I was thinking as well. I can see them burning Shireen if there is a bigger obstacle to overcome. But Winterfell does not equal winning the 7 Kingdoms. It doesn't equal beating the White Walkers either. It's freaking Winterfell. No offense, but the Starks and the North are done. Only the Boltons are strong. Stannis burned his daughter to win some old warriors (all the good ones died in the South) and wastelands? Please.... The show burned her way to early. I can also understanding Mel doing it on her own.
  5. +10000 GRRM said it himself "Characters will die in the show that don't die in the books". I truly think this is the case here. The show runners needed a "2 birds [something that beats the winter and gives shock factor] with one stone" to give Stannis some advantage. They ditched the mountain clan storyline. So killing Shireen was kind of a shortcut that will give another "WTF Moment" that they build the show on.
  6. +1. It's not D & D's place to say this is exactly from the book ["Stannis burning his daughter and watching"].
  7. I don't know which NW brothers will stab Jon, but Oilly is most likely one of them.
  8. I don't he meant it like "you're not a woman, you're a girl". I thought he meant it as a joke as "you're not a woman, you're a man" because of her tomboyish look.
  9. I don't think she is a child. Her IMDB page might be misleading because it has an old picture of her and no age. But Google says she's 19. I don't think HBO go that far now...
  10. But why would she? Imo, she's been through enough that she must realize she has to get out of her pickle alone. She won't receive much help, especially from the likes of Theon. And if it was the broken tower, Ramsey would've taken another finger/toe or something for Reek betraying him.
  11. Right now, I think that Sand Snake will use Bronn like Arianne used Oakheart in the books.
  12. This is what I thought as well. Where Ramsey was sitting didn't look like a tower at all.
  13. They kind of make Sansa too stupid in the show. In the books she was a young lady influenced by songs and tales. I don't know why she would go to Theon for help. I could understand if Theon told Sansa the truth about her little brothers, but Sansa still believes he killed them, and she thinks she can get Theon to do her dirty work by calling him "Theon Greyjoy" as if she believes there is great honor in that house. It just doesn't make sense to me. The scene with Bronn and the Sand Snake was lame imo. Was Stannis trying to make one of those black ghosts again, or did they actually show a horny Stannis again?...... Everything else was really good. I thought Aemon and the HIgh Sparrow were the best parts. The actor who plays the High Sparrow nails every scene. EDIT: I also thought the Gilly rape scene was stupid too. I thought there was no need for it, since there was a rape scene last week. It's a little much and a cheap way to implement shock factors.
  14. Very nice scene between Stannis and Shireen. I think this will be the one that wins the audience.
  15. C'mon man. Easy. English might be his second language. I had a little trouble reading it too, but I was able to understand and agree with a lot of what was said.
  16. Having Stannis in next episode will make much more sense. I can't wait for the non-readers to see what a hero Stannis is.
  17. good points. That's probably why I was disappointed. I kept looking at the time wondering if they are going to get the Stannis scene right. I think Stannis fans like my self will give it a higher rating when we revisit it.
  18. Yea, I agree. Maybe remove the Night's Watch attacking Craster's Keep and just have the Castle Black battles separate. And leave Craster's Keep to Coldhands. I think this would've been better.
  19. Yea it was a good talk. But I couldn't really sit still and listen b/c I was so anxious to see the battle. I can't wait for the chant next episode. Lot of people, including me, are upset we didn't see it this episode (I thought they were going to finish all the battles in this episode tbh). But where this episode left off, it makes more sense to put the chant in E10 of course. Patience Stannis fans.
  20. I actually liked how the books did it. They fought the battles one by one and it showed Jon Snow's courage and leadership even though he was always in pain. On top of that, it showed how unorganized the wildings were even though they were under a King named Mance.
  21. Very True. Maybe Jon will do something more honorable and challenge him to single combat to settle it or something.
  22. I didn't like Ygritte's death. It should take more than one arrow from a little boy to take her down for good. I thought it would've been better for Jon to find her dead after that battle was over. Maybe we could have seen characters like Noye if they didn't waste time with things like the Grey Worm love story. The Grenn and Pyp death got to me. Even though it didn't happen in the books. I hope this doesn't mean they will die in tWoW. And I wish we got to see Jon commanding and leading more to show why he is LC material in the upcoming election. I got a feeling that Alister will turn out to be honorable when Sam and Gilly reveal Janos hiding during battle, and that's how Snow becomes LC unanimously. So that may be a quick scene in E10 if they do it that way. The Aemon and Sam scene sucked imo. No "Stannis, Stannis!". If we don't see this next episode, I'm going to be sad.
