And I kept getting a bad feeling about them calling Jon King in the North... With friends like Littlefinger who needs the Night's King and Cersei?

9/10 I enjoyed it all. Margaery was great - what a manipulator - getting the High Sparrow to insist that she resume marital relations with Tommen to secure an heir. I suppose that is to get Septa Uma out of her hair. Cersei is reaping what she has sown. The Waif has sealed her own fate now. The Hound's sweet simple life is over. Sansa is getting desperate so Littlefinger will be back I expect. Lyanna Mormont was a delight and certainly needs her Uncle or is it Great Uncle?Jorah.

They got the Blackfish and Jaime right. Broken man is Theon Greyjoy according to Yara. Arya! Brotherhood without Banners... Epic episode - awesome tv adaption - great acting.

10 Great episode Finally some answers about CotF

I really enoyed it all definitely a 10. My unsullied husband was disappointed that there weren't more deaths. (Jojen, Hound, Shae, Tywin and Wildling hosts weren't enough for him apparently.) He wants to know when Jon Snow dies. I really liked the Fall of the House of Lannister this season. They will never all meet again, just like the Starks. Vale Joffrey, Vale Tywin... The deaths of the Clegane brothers is another matter. I think they might meet again. Finally Stannis gets to the Wall and they did that part well. I enjoyed Mance Rayder's part and Bran gets to BloodRaven at last.

In the Iron Bank scene it was Davos as usual making Stannis look good. I'm looking forward to Melisandre making him look like king material on the Wall. Also what are the odds now of an Olenna Aemon reunion in KL Season 5 after the way they did Jon and Ygritte?

10 - it was awesome much better than the book version. I loved Gilly and Ygritte. And I really liked the cliffhanger. I think possibly more could have been made of the fact that ravens begging for help from all the self proclaimed kings and not one has so far sent the army needed to win the war. Series 3 had Melisandre tell Stannis he had to go to the wall and help but apart from the Iron Bank of Braavos scene where he begged for money and soldiers we haven't seen much. My son tells me he is really looking forward to seeing how the Red Witch deals with the wargs. I'd just like to see her rescue Jon Snow from his enemies...

Yes it is certainly a massive wall that Martin is building and it takes discipline and humility to prune back so many great characters to actually complete the novels and meet publishing deadlines. Genius and ego are not enough.

I gave it 8. I enjoyed it and so did my unsullied husband. He immediately worked out that Littlefinger was about to send Lysa flying. I enjoyed most of the episode better than when I read it. Tyrion and Oberyn was a masterly display and I enjoyed Bronn's new clothes.
