  1. They wanted to emphasize, that Bran's dick doesn't work, ACCORDING TO SANSA, HIS SISTER FROM ALABAMA.
  2. Nice. This is pretty much how I imagine GRRM will potray it in the books. Have them also switch the plot in the North. She's devastated and then focuses on the real enemy (Night king) and this wake up call pushes her to go all in to save humanity. Cersei should perish in season 7 latest when she goes absolutely mental and tries to blow up KL on purpose because all her children are dead, everyone is against me, so what's the point. In this moment Jaime comes and stop this wildfire plot AGAIN, by strangling her.

Robert Baratheon - Not so bad after all

Renly would be absolutely a terrible king. He's plotting to plunge Westeros into war. Trying to get Margeary into Robert's bed in order to establish Tyrels, who bought his ass. When the timing's right tell Robert about Jaime and Cersei, have them executed with the children on the spot, with Tywin marching into field. After the Stannis parley, instructs his commanders to kill him - I think Stannis would die shortly after Robert following this coup, if he stayed in KL. Also his idea of a strong candidate (son, brother) is rather dangerous precedent going forward. Every younger son or brother can claim anything by show of force.

Robert Baratheon - Not so bad after all

The comparison between Aegon IV and Robert I is just.........ignorant. Sure Bobby wasn't really great king, and a pleasant person, but he was far from worst. Let's dissect your post. He let corruption run rampant - did he really? We know he was a warrior king and his qualities was in morale boost of the troops, not statesmanship. This role was delegated to Jon Arryn alone. Jon Arryn is to blame as much as him, and it's a character praised more than anyone in the novels for his political savvy. He had 3 powergrabbing plotters in his own small council (Baelish, Varys and HIS OWN Brother). The debt - I'm pretty sure Littlefinger embezzeled a LOT of money from the crown. We have couple of clues throughout the books, the biggest one being Tyrion not getting any sense of the books (didn't have enough time to investigate, because of Stannis approaching). Joffrey - did he knew his son was cruel? Apart from the cat incident what was other evidence? After the slap/punch he gave Joff, Cersei distanced all of "his" children from him and threatened to MURDED him if he does anything remotely close. Bobby was absent king in the latter stages of his rule, he was a drunk, whoremonger, and he raped Cersei couple of times so no I do not think of him as a good person. But he was far from worst of the kings. He had very long and prosperous reign with relative peace. The collapse of his reign is on the shoulders of Littlefinger, Varys, Renly and the Lannisters, THEY STARTED THE Wot5K. Aegon IV started Blackfyre rebellion as a giant fuck you to his own son Dareon II, just because people liked him better. He started this rebelion, which haunted the realm for generations just because he was being petty. He alienated almost every lord of Westeros by his treatment of women and feudal contracts. Wanted to start a war with Dorne, when his own son was already married into the family. I mean, come on. Bloodraven created a police state when the Great Spring Sickness desolated Westeros. He ignored Ironborn invasion, letting Stark and Lannisters to deal with it on their own, without any official support. And he broke one of the most sacred rules/traditions of guest right, when he had Aenys Blackfyre executed the moment he showed up in KL for Great council, before promising him safe conduct. There was a nation wide paranoia surrounding Blooraven (Lord Bloodraven sees everything with his thoundseyes and one). It was actually Meakar I that had to keep Bloodraven on a leash and to keep the 7K together strong between Blackfyre rebelions. There is really no comparison between the two. Bobby had his own faults, but as I mentioned he was far from worst. I actually have to rank above more than half of Targaryen kings (Maegor I, Viserys I, Aegon II, Baelor I, Aegon IV, Aerys I, Aerys II). To answer to this underlying question: Is Robert I Baratheon better than Daenerys? Show? Well, yes. He did not burn half the city to the ground. He did not give the order to murder any children or women, Tywin Lannister did. Was he deliberately ingorant of the fact and is it morally ambiguous? Of course. Books? I personally think Daenarys blows up KL by ACCIDENT, so this is not relevant for me.

Books vs Show: How much difference?

Timeline following Dance of the Dragons book: Daenarys gets her khalasar in Vaes Dothrak via Dosh Khaleen, and Drogon. Goes back to Mereen, where in the meantime, Barristan defeats the weakass Yukai and Astapor with the help of Victarion Greyjoy (acctual Euron in the show?). Barristan's coup blows up in his face by trusting Skahaz and Dany's "loyalist" - gets butchered. Dany gets back at the head of superkhalasar. Goes apeshit and deals with betrayals and the Harpy (probably sacks Mereen). Victarion tries to bind a dragon to his will only to die like a little bitch. Tyrion swoops in and bonds with Dany, setting her sights to Westeros. They sack Volantis and Pentos on their way, leaving questionable people in the lead (Tattered prince). Dany embraces her fire and blood persona (not mad but harsh). Goes West.... Euron pillages the Reach and sacks Oltown after some weird blood sacrifice to the Drown God. Willas and Garlan Tyrell hold him up with success. Euron goes all in and blows the Horn of Joramun, the Wall collapses and Others pour in. Battles with Bran on wargining plane. Gets defeated, turn his eye on Dany. Jon's body is in the Ice cells chillin a little while. He's warging and stuff. The wildlings and Jon loyalist murder the mutineers. Melisandre gives him the gift of life. The Wall is in dissaray. Jon's watch has ended. He sulks and gets a bomb drop on him by Howland Reed (he's Rheagar's and Lyana's son - Ned lied to him his whole life). Identity crisis turn up a notch. After Stannis defeats the Boltons, prepares for the fight with Others. They get their asses kicked by the Army of the Dead all over the North. Stannis sacrifices Shireen to turn the tides. They fail, Stannis dies defending Winterfell. Faegon goes after KL. Gets support from Reach. Lays seige. Connington wants to sack the city Tywin-style. In the meanwhile Cersei goes cookoo, after Mountain kills Tommen. Myrcella dies as well and Cersei sinks to full Aerys, tries to blow up KL via wildfire cashes. Jaime stops that and strangles her, doing Wildfire plot 2.0. Lannisters fold, Faegon is crowned, Arriane Martell is the queen. Jaime either dies or takes the black (probably 1000th Lord commander). Danearys lays seige to KL from usurper Faegon. Only literal "dance of dragons 2.0" occurs. But Dany blows up KL by ACCIDENT (the caches of wildfire). Gets back to Dragonstone. King Landining becomes Valyrian Chernobyl. Fire and blood didn't workout, she did not get Iron throne. Gets tempted by Euron to join the Others and destroy humanity. Turns away from him and helps Jon and Tyrion defeat the in the Hearth of Winter. The Trio die and Seven Kingdoms break apart. Sansa overthrows Baelish and gets hold of the Vale through marriage to Harry the Heir, helps the North with defense from the Others. After destruction of KL and victory over the Others, oversees the rebuilding of the Westeros. Has the political experience, savvy and connections. This is how I think the books will end. Didn't think it impossible to transfer to screen. Maybe even possible in 8 season per 10 episodes. That's why book readers are so mad. The thematic narrative is gone, character development and arcs are gone, it is just plot points met in certain times. Thus every episode since season 4 feels flat (episode 10 of season 4 did it for me - I mean skeletors from Jason and Argonauts? Children of the forrest with fireballs? Srsly?). There is no catarsis, no resolution, no layers anymore. Just pure production and shock value. D&D are hacks, I honestly hope I live to see a remake in my lifetime. That's how desperate I am :-D
