  1. Ok. Well I just we just disagree that this was a major change. I don't see it as such.
  2. Tyrion still had plenty of reason to be mad at Tywin. I mean where to start. Yup, that's the major problem with the lack of Tysha. Oh Jamie has plenty of reason to resent Cersei. It's not everything is now perfect. This is not the end of it all, the next season IS coming. Well, there's the whole killing their father thing. Doubt Jamie will be all that pleased with that. You make it sound as if that one scene changes that past 4 seasons (and before show backstory) of interactions. It hurts and I have no idea why they dropped it (again it's the worst change they've made to date) but it's not the end of the world.
  3. I don't know, I had the feeling Tyrion had a reason or two to be angry with his father even without the Tysha story (which again I do miss and I think was one of the shows worst changes). Again I'm not defending every change, I'm saying nothing major has changed.
  4. Implications of Tyrions escape aren't yet known. I do you had the problem with Jamie/Cersei, I do as well, but we don't know how show will handle any of that yet. What else didn't make sense in there? Why he killed the woman who betrayed him in anger? Why he killed the Father that hated him and betrayed him at every opportunity? I missed Tysha stuff as well, the Tyrion escape in general I felt was rushed and not done perfectly. It lacked the impact, but it worked out story wise. Arya's identity at the gate is a bit of a head scratcher. I imagine the guards laughed them off. No big deal, again it was not any kind of major point. People caring is not what I'm taking about. My point was MAJOR differences in plot points. That hasn't happened yet. Apparently there some rumour Jamie goes to Dorne next year not Riverrun, now THAT would be a major change and I'd be REALLY upset about. Also for record I don't know how people could not care about Jon. He's been built up as huge as have White Walkers. As for Stannis, I didn't give a damn about him till end of ASoS either.
  5. And there's yet to be any major changes as far as I'm concerned. No major changes in any storylines. I mean there's been a couple detours and different motivations, but nothing major per se. Has there been some mistakes in those changes? Yes, of course plenty. However there has been some changes for the better (the books are NOT perfect) and overall it's all worked out.
  6. Ok I got it now. I know what your talking about. I'm not sure how much spoilers is allowed in this thread so I'll just say I thought you were talking about Jon Arryn which was revealed this season obviously.
  7. Really great post. Agree with most of it. Don't understand this point though. What are you talking about here? I really liked the episode, but like others my biggest disappointment was Tyrion escape scenes. Good point Desmond Wine's Bane brought up about the inconsistency of Jamie/Cersei scene beforehand as well. I think they probably should have moved Bran's scene to early next season to get more time in KL. Overall though another great episode. Really liked Maisie William's scenes in particular, great job by her. Jon/Mellisandre foreshadowing was well done as well. Stannis got his big moment as well, hopefully that'll help sooth some of those Stannis people.
