    Episode Titles

Nice nod to Duncan the Tall here with Brienne's knighting.

    So Now We Know...

I've thought that too, and they're downright creepy. It's THEIR world that was destroyed by the First Men, THEIR gods (weirwoods) that were cut down. The gods can no longer see because the trees are gone.

    So Now We Know...

    No, it's Night's King.

    So Now We Know...

Yes, Old Nan says he was a Stark. Brandon Stark to be exact. When he gave his seed to her, he gave her his soul as well. (Stannis did exactly the same thing while impregnating Mel with shadow babies, incidentally.)

    So Now We Know...

Good incarnate and evil incarnate have no meaning in this story. I will be even more disappointed than I am now if they turn him into a cookie cutter villain and he just wants to destroy the world after all.

    So Now We Know...

Minor nitpick here, but they don't abduct them. The children are sacrificed to them--Craster leaves his male children for the Others to turn into more Others. And there is one that was not sacrificed (Baby Sam). It's how Craster stayed alive all those years. The book story doesn't matter at this point, but all of the WW probably have Stark blood. The Starks are to the Others what the Targs are to the dragons.
  7. You're conflating two concepts. I didn't say they could be used to kill wights or WW. I said it was used to keep the spirits of the dead in their places. Not the same thing at all. However, Old Nan tells us waaaay back that the Others hate iron, and an iron axe is the only thing left from their very first attack on the wildlings in the prologue. Additionally, the wights in the ice cells at the Wall are bound with iron chains. The swords keep the Starks from rising as wights or even as leaders ( if you think as I do that there are Others in the Stark family tree).

    Jon faction VS Daenerys faction

She believes she's a god and she's immune. That's really all we need to know. If I recall correctly, D&D earned the wrath of Martin for making her unscathed the second time. Myhsa, Myhsa, Myhsa. So yeah, she's portrayed as a goddess. Which she isn't. Flying Drogon for the first time was, in her mind, her apostasy.
  9. Every tomb is guarded by an iron sword to keep them there.
  10. Ice Queen

    Jon faction VS Daenerys faction

I think one of her dragons gets her. Proving once and for all that she's not a god and Targs aren't immune to fire.

    The Crypt

Not just any sword. Swords made of iron.
  12. Ice Queen

    Samwell Tarly stole the spotlight.

I know exactly what sociopath means. And she is one. And no, it's got nothing to do with the actress.

The Night King and King's Landing

    Wouldn't that be nice?

The Night King and King's Landing

Or the Uruk-hai at the Battle of the Hornburg. :p
