If you read the books stannis doesn't burn anyone not already guilty of treason
Ummm. Where in my post, did I even say anything about that. I read the books, long before the show came out.
-
Stannis is in the north at the end of the last book. Brienne is in the Riverlands.
1. I liked this season. Fans and critics are entitled to their opinions, but they are just that.
2. Yeah, total hacks. https://youtu.be/xcZG6fIUMqg
Cas was talking about the D&D interview from last week. In it, they said Stannis was burning people on the beach, the first time we see him, meaning season two.

True Detective season 2, please be amazing! Balance must be restored!
Penny Dreadful is enjoyable, too.
-
And that is entirely his fault.
Not saying it's not.
-
The show - in its own way - has brought us right to where we are in the books. Cliffhangers galore. There were spoilers, sure, but they were only confirmations of theories with enough evidence behind them that they felt like canon. The deaths of minor characters can be easily dismissed. We can rejoice because this can only mean the Winds of Winter will be published before season 6 airs.
Even if it is, it's just a temporary bandage. Unless Martin is writing Dream at the same time, we will be right back to this point again. :-(

What in seven hells did I just watch?
Don't worry. JCRB, has been passing out sympathy hugs, all night. I'm sure she has one for you too.

Can any one recall if Nic has posted in here yet. Im interested in their comments, about the Pit.

I know this doesn't settle, whether or not Olly is a NW member at this point. But he did know the entire vows of the Watch. Davos asking him to recite them, implies the fact that, he is a member.

I don't think there can be any doubt, the Others are evil now. Even after the FotFM, I was still skeptical about their intentions, not any more. They just slaughtered tens of thousands, in an instant. Not good. Bye Felicia! You gots to go.

When Jon crossed blades, with the Walker, it seemed way to similar to The Return of the King.
-
Bleh.
I hope to God they aren't trying to make Ramsay out as another 'badass' again. You go up against Stannis, you get destroyed. Piss off Ramsay.
Lol Ramsay and his 20 men, are the SEAL Team 6 of Westeros. You didn't get the memo?
-
Look up the story of the Last Hero, who was a Stark and the number of his companions. Then go back and watch the scene from last season, when we first saw the Nights King. They are the sameWhat's the deal with everyone thinking the White Walkers are former Starks? Where is that coming from?
-
I wonder if Edd, changes his tune, regarding the wildlings coming south of the Wall now?
-
I thought I had read somewhere that NotVal was credited for future episodes...? But that could have been an IMDB rumor. Not sure.
Well, technically....she is still part of the show and we may see her again. :-)
-
Maybe this is minor on the grand scheme of things and maybe it's my inner nerd peering through; but the musical score on the back half of the episode was amazing.
-
I've always believed the Starks had made a pact with the Others. And the fact Rickard and Brandon died without been able to inform Ned -who wasn't the heir- about it could have caused them to hit South and come to claim what they want or wanted a Stark in return. Who knows, maybe Jon decides to go on his own.
Same here. Though, I've never thought, that Ned would have never known, because his father and brother were inconveniently killed.
Damn Aerys. Dude is always screwing things up.

i appreciated Ramsay giving a shout out to one of the books they are adapting this season.
Definitely a nice Easter Egg there. Gave me good chuckle.
-
Wouldn't they need a body?
I wonder if that means that the reason the WW are coming is because neither Rickard's or Brandon's bodies were delivered to them as they should have been.
Now that is a spooky thought. Kind of reminds of the lead villain in S. King's Storm of the Century. "Give me what I want and I'll go away."
-
....and that is why, we watch GoT. Honestly, if an individual comes in here and goes off on a long, stupid, rant on how that episode sucked.....they should be made fun, without recourse.
-
The North is home to the old Gods. The Gods of winter. The red witch has no power there.
Yet, the closer she got to the Wall, the more powerful she got. Of course, this was just in the books.
-
and miss the sex scenes with Arianne :(
Ahhh. My sweet Arianne. How I wish for a scene in the books, where she and Asha are in same room.

I swear, you have a program on your device that alerts you, when any mention of JonCon or those around him are talked about.Aegon is not a filler. The idea of JonCon being "dead" and exiled in Essos was presented already in book 3.
Side note: Your post in another thread, about boobs and chocolate milk...was delicious.
-
I don't know if I'd call it filler. Varys and Illyrio, definitely had a long track plan. We see them plotting in the beginning of both the show and books. Perhaps the plot is not important in the grand scheme or final outcome. But now, it seems...at least in terms of the show, they were speaking about Dany. At this point....it's anyone's guess.[ Proof , if it were needed that Faegon is GRRM Filler invented to help the 5 year gap pass....
But, I really doubt T. Martell is going to assume the role of Aegon. It just seems to be, far to late in the game.
-
Seriously....shut up. It was a joke. People are so fucking sensitive anymore. Constantly looking to rip people for saying the slightest hint of something that could be considered 'insensitive'. Give it a rest.
Considering there have been numerous posts expressing shock, in this thread about an 18 year old adult, being nude....I doubt it was a joke. They are the one's being sensitive and speaking as if they know what is best, for a woman capable of making her own decisions. :-)
