  1. It is stated that Beric died in 300 AC for the last time, but I'm not sure about that. He died resurrecting Catelyn three days after the Red Wedding which took place in 299 AC. King's Landing received the message of the RW in 299 AC (prior to the Purple Wedding on the first day of 300 AC). So to me it seems unlikely that only three days passed between the Red Wedding and the Purple Wedding.
  2. I would think so as well, but there seems to be some disagreement among the readers. I seem to recall even a wiki entry stating that the Doom occured in 102 BC.
  3. This calculation doesn't work without a year 0. But I got it wrong myself as well. Aegon became 26 in 1 BC and 27 in 1 AC. So he became 28 in 2 AC, 29 in 3 AC, 30 in 4 AC, 31 in 5 AC, 32 in 6 AC, and 33 in 7 AC. So he became (or would have become) 63 in 37 AC and would have become 64 just in 38 AC. I guess this mistake results from the damn missing year.
  4. There seems to be some mess about the dates regarding the Conquest on the wiki in general. And a lot of years of death (the Gardeners, Harren, Argilac) are based on the dates of the battles, so there are many subsequent faults. Did you notice that Aegon I dying at the age of 64 means a deviation by Yandel from his usual style? Since there is no year 0 (by the way, the date in the box on the site of King's Landing needs to be changed), Aegon would have become 65 in 37 AC. That works fine for me.
  5. What are the dates of the three major battles during Aegon's Conquest (Harrenhal, Last Storm, Field of Fire) based on?
  6. Jeffory Mallister: The chapter given as source doesn't mention a brother of Jason at all.
  7. Maybe it should be replaced by information about Borros marching to King's Landing and restoring the order.
  8. From the page about Borros Baratheon: I couldn't find anything about Borros laughing about the green hosts being slaughtered or thinking himself cunning.
  9. Everything in Ice and Fire is based on the thoughts and the subjective sense of the characters. So you would need to change every sentence on the wiki into "According to Tyrion/Yandel/Gyldayn".
  10. I'm not really happy with the following passage from the entry about the Cannibal: I think Aenar didn't flee from Valyria to Dragonstone a century before the Doom. It was rather a decade. Are these speculations based on the assumptions of a maester cited in The World of Ice and Fire or another book? Or just made by editors of the wiki? I think this needs to be clarified. I just know about two maesters doubting the version of the smallfolk (Munkun and Barth). And they don't give any alternative explanation. So again, what is based on the books and what is just personal speculation?
  11. About Luthor Tyrell: I can't find any source for that statement.
  12. Is there any source stating that Gulltown is larger than White Harbor? I only found this SSM:
  13. Ravos Hoare: I think Erich is only mentioned to be Harrag's grandson, not Ravos' son. He could also be Ravos' nephew.
  14. About House Maedows: Are they actually historically sworn to Storm's End? Or have they just like the Florents joined Stannis after Renly's death? In the latter case this needs to be cut out from the introduction.
  15. And you are probably right, but the wiki should't state things as facts which aren't confirmed by anything. Once it seemed very likely that Bloodraven was imprisoned by Maekar as well. ;-) So I'd prefer the Great Pyramid being listed under "Possible Wonders" with a note like "It is strongly implied that...". And I guess we can assume now that Lomas lived before Harrenhal was built?
  16. But nowhere in the chapter it is confirmed that Lomas included it in his book. He visited many places. So either we need another source explicitly stating it or the Great Pyramid needs to be listed under "Possible Wonders".
  17. The Ruins of the Great Pyramid of Ghis are listed as confirmed wonder made by men, but where is confirmed that the Great Pyramid is actually one of the wonders Lomas recorded in his book?
  18. Where is stated that Aemon Dragonknight became Lord Commander of the Kingsguard under King Daeron I Targaryen?
  19. From the page of House Mudd. The riverlands were invaded right after the conquest of the Vale, and both the Storm Kings and the Ironborn were First Men at that time. So I think we can delete this passage.
  20. Thanks a lot. The last part didn't make it into the German edition...
  21. I can't find the term "King of the Isles and the Rivers" anywhere in the books. Where does it come from?
  22. I can't find it anywhere. No, I don't think so. Is there anything suggesting that Bracken was still Hand at the time of his execution?
