  1. As for the open team keepers, I suggest we settle somehow on the top 5 to get 2 year contracts based on value. Then let the new owner decline any of those 5 next year before the draft if desired. We want to give incentive/advantages to recruit but not tie new owners down past 1 more year. And include at least 1 qb in the keeper options.
  2. According to fantasypros league analyzer the power rankings are: Kingslanding 100 Hardhome 98 Dragonstone 96 Hornhill 91 Winter fell 90 Great Wyk 89 Valyria 87 Harlaw 87 Red fork 85 Harrenhall 84 Fwiw
  3. Keep Geno Smith for 2 years DK Metcalf for 3 years Marquise Brown for 3 years Jaylen Warren for 2 years Ty Chandler for 2 years Isaiah Likely for 4 years
  4. So what's the difference? UBI seems to mean that everyone is able to express themselves fully and there's a flowering of art and creativity. Basic seems like you're trading black market favors for life sustaining drugs and you hope your social credit is high enough to get you a job out of your neighborhood. They probably both trend to the same end state, but maybe I'm naive.
  5. I have my auction values ready, and a very moderately priced bottle of red opened. Just need to figure out my strategy now.
  6. I didn't see you update the original post for my team but I'm dropping Dalton Schulz and Jordan Mason.
  7. I think it was the way his calf quivered in slow mo as all the tension in lower leg got released. I for one blame Pod.
  8. Would rather start later than earlier on Wednesday, so 10 Eastern is better than 9 30 for this east coast guy. Can make either of them work.
  9. Good week one so far. Idk why all the belly aching.
  10. No fucking shit? I'm pretty sure Char and Kay who work where I had dinner weren't racing their private jets to Davos trying to beat John Kerry (hero of the Mekong delta) there. I'd expect the top .1% are responsible for way more than .4%, even if I do suspect that study is probably a huge pile of horseshit from a rigorous mathematical standard.
  11. So the inflation over the last 2-3 years is because of Bush circa 2007? Got to say, I was expecting a dumb response. But you exceeded expectations by at least 2 sigmas.
  12. I feel like book club has a much more predictable ending time.
  13. I can do Wednesday after 9 30. Have my book club until 9.
  14. Whose fault is it? Seems to me that increasing the supply of dollars while restricting the production of energy has to lead to inflation. Not to say Biden is wholly responsible himself. (Heck I wonder if he can wipe his own ass some days.) But if you're not blaming Biden, whose fault is it?
  15. Ok no draft tonight. I ll ask a couple of friends and see if anyone of them want to jump into another league.
  16. Was warmer than average for early September for golf league tonight. But one of the members threw a pool party after league, so great time for sure. Frankly, I could only hope that it stayed so warm through all of September. (90F high today). Seasonal variance is arriving soon enough.
  17. Great win for the Lions. Great mix of young talent, Goff redemption, and Dan Campbell. I think I'm on that bandwagon for my NFC team this year.
  18. Are we talking about Dynasty or Keeper? Are we drafting Friday? Or next week?
  19. Took Kelce tonight in a twelve team 1 keeper league. Can't keep anyone from the first three rounds and your keeper is one round higher the second year, and automatically 3rd round if you keep him twice. So ADP ends up being off by about 2 spots by the middle of the first, and about 4 by the turn. I had Rhamondre for a 6th or 7th, picking out of the 9 spot. Nick Chubb went one pick before mine, so I went with Amon-Ra 10th. Not sure if I like that pick or not, but I just couldn't pull the trigger on Pollard or Henry at that price, and like St Brown better than Adams or AJ Brown, who went before my next pick. (Chase, J Wilson, Jacobs, Burrow, and Olave were all kept btw). Full PPR. Coming back around I took Kelce 15th overall , and figured I'd just scramble week 1. Grabbed Okonkwo fairly late to start this week. I think it was the right call. Got Metcalf and Breece Hall as follow ups, so I ended up reaching a round I think on Geno (8th) to make the stack, and took Conner at a good price, though I have great fears for AZ's offense. I figure one I get past the first week or two, if Kelce and Hall start trending up I should be a very strong team. Thoughts?
  20. Just do it Kal. Think of the joy you can have crushing my soul.
  21. Well that escalated! That itself shouldn't be a huge deal. Wardrobe costs ought not break either of you. Apart from your parenthetical there, seems like a very minor problem with a very simple fix. Though the 'for example' makes me wonder. From what I've seen you have a very solid sense of how to present yourself well. Or maybe it's all a strong versus secure ego question on his part. I'm not attempting to speak for Chats here, but it may very well depend on just what sort of Greek loving.
  22. I'm accepting this as tacit admission of the talent of the White Harbor Bakers. It was a bit of fun, but also a bit of a pain in the ass to remember to pick all the games every week. We'll always have Cincy. Or maybe we're on to Cincy, I forget sometimes.
  23. I'd prefer Thursday, but if Friday is the day, I'll make it work. If I understand the penalties properly, go ahead and drop Jordan Mason for 1 dollar for 3 years, and Dalton Schultz (who I bid 5 for, for $2 dollars this year only?) If Schultz is more than that as a penalty I'll just roll with him. This is a one TE league, right? Everyone else seems like reasonable value still, considering potential penalties.
  24. What percentage of the Whitmer plot was convicted, and what percentage was government paycheck people? A bunch of feds can convince a few mentally limited people to do just about anything. Follow the cash flow
  25. There were pros and cons to buying gin and oranges.
