Has anyone seen "Borgia" - not the Showtime series "The Borgias" with Jeremy Irons, but Tom Fontana's European-produced series? I'm watching it and really liking it now. Anyway, John Bradley is in it, playing a small recurring role of young cardinal Giovanni Medici, aka future pope Leo X.

On another note, since Faye Marsay who played Anne Neville on The White Queen is now Waif on GoT, I guess she is starting to specialise in playing characters that have been turned into bitchy harridans for no good reason on shittily written quasi-medieval TV shows.

Aiden Gillen (Littlefinger) in The Wire as Tommy Carcetti!

(probably been said a hundred times already in this discussion)

at first i thought he was playing the same role, only placed as a baltimore city councilman instead of a 7kingdoms small-councilman. but in time i came to recognize Carcetti as a tiny bit better person than Baelish...

I saw Ciaran Hinds in "Closer" on Broadway back in 1999. He was awesome.

If you want to see the High Sparrow when he was young, handsome and malevolent, look up "Something Wicked This Way Comes." Or for a great dystopian comedy with Mr. Pryce, see "Brazil." He also was in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.as Keira Knightley's dad.

He was really good in the Wire. Never would've suspected that he was Irish, he really came across as a guy from the east coast, thought he might be a New Yorker irl.

I'm sure these have all been mentioned, but...

<snip>

Whenever I think about actor who have appeared in Harry Potter, Doctor Who or Game of Thrones (and in various other shows or films) I can't help but wonder how small the pool of British actors seems... :)

Really glad to hear that Gwen got cast in Mockingjay and Star Wars!

I recently saw Maisie Williams do a really cute appearance in this music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqsL0QQaSP4

Speaking of music videos:

It has Pedro Pascal in it. It's not exactly my taste of music but a friend who's also into GoT pointed it out to me.

Speaking of Dr. Who and Maisie Williams did you all see the new trailer for Dr. Who Season 9 with Maisie appearing at the end.  According to Dr. Who's show runner she is playing a new character that will appear in two episodes this season. https://youtu.be/fi3nJBlJs48

I don't know if this has been mentioned but Maisie's new movie, her first in a leading role, is going to be released in the States in August.  An idie film called The Falling, about a mysterious fainting epidemic in an all girls boarding school in 1969.

I watch so much old British TV, that I decided not to update this thread anymore, but I've had a few multi-hits recently.

Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell had Enzo Cilenti (Yezzan zo Qaggaz) in a main role, with Clive Mantle (Greatjon) and Paul Kaye (Thoros).

Currently watching Humans, this again has Paul Kaye as a quirky supporting actor, and also Will Tudor (Olyvar).

And watching an old episode of Inspector Morse, Robert Pugh (Craster) as a prison warder had Sean Bean (do I really need to say!) as a prisoner in an armlock.
