Theda Baratheon
Don't be ridiculous, take it out, wear it out and take lots of photos for Facebook :P Maybe you can wear it at LonCon! Theda that dress will look sensational on you! :P I will definitely be taking some photos of my outfit! I pride myself on some of my better outfits, methinks this could certainly be part of one! ^_^

brook
Ok fashion experts help me out. There is nothing I hate more than an event with an uncertain dress code, I have tickets to this event on Friday night http://www.mardigras.org.au/events/women-say-something-dancing-on-the-ceiling/ we have seats at the tables with three course meal so obviously I want something nice but how nice? I have at my disposal a huge amount of short dresses in the 'slightly dressier than casual, would usually be worn with knee-high boots' category and one longer (calf length) dress which is very nice but possibly *too* nice and I'd have to relearn how to walk in my super high heels again, or I could go shopping and spend money I don't really have. Fragile Bird
This looks like an event with a wide range of options. I bet you could come in anything from business attire to as-fancy-as-you-want. :)
brook
yes but that's my problem! I hate those sort of events! It means I'll feel like I'm doing it wrong no matter what I wear.

Angalin
Well, in LA, it won't be all that long before the weather gets warm, so we'll see. Buy it. (I am not the no person you want to go shopping with.) Ok fashion experts help me out. It looks like cocktail-dress time to me. If you don't feel that you have anything like that already, choose something plain that you do have and accessorize it up. Melphis Amekia
Not really asking for opinion, just sharing something here.Since I live in a small-ish town in a small-ish country, I can't really buy any GoT apparel(that, and money). Last summer though, my whole class went to Greece and my friend, who got me into GoT, found two shops somewhere around Plaka(which is the name of the square near the Acropolis in Athens, with one very long street on the side just for shops and another just for restaurants) where they sold GoT stuff and she bought a T-shirt for herself and another for her now ex-boyfriend. Sadly, since it was our last day in Athens, and because she was tired, I couldn't find the freaking shops!!! Instead of two 300 movie T-shirts I bought I'd have bought 2 GoT T-shirts. I regret that to this day and will probably regret until I somehow get my hands on a dozen such T-shirts.
