What the hell are you talking about?!?!? You clearly stated that Winds of Winter's release date would be announced this month. Ran himself, who would definitely know better than you, told us that that is in no way true. So yes, you were absolutely talking out of your ass. You are the worst kind of troll. Go waste someone else's time. You don't deserve to post on my topic.

They've taken a couple chapters and made the last all season before. Dany only has what, like 5 chapters in Storm of Swords. And she had a decent sized arc in S3.

I think it's definitely possible for them to stall most of Feast/Dance until S5, but with their 7 season plan I suspect we'll see most of Feast/Dance this year.

But they've already cast Bloodraven and (at least) one CotF, so unless they just appear in a dream as it has been suggested, they're definitely going waist-deep into ADwD material.

Then perhaps Bran meets Bloodraven in the last (two) of his episodes. The rest of the Bloodraven scenes (if there are any at all) might be simply a dream, or Bran's voice.

The connection between Bran and Bloodraven might be getting stronger now that they are both at the same side of the Wall.. and it would help introduce Bloodraven.

But this is just pure speculation. We'll start to see in about a month

So either a filler story of Bran going to the cave or next to no Bran in season 5. I don't view either option as good

You can't count content in chapters. Bran won't obviously have a lot of scenes this seasons, but you can still make a decent arc out of this chapter.

Unless my memory betrays me, the Child of the Forest is only supposed to appear in one or two episodes.

It still means they're going well into ADwD territory though ; those new characters are introduced in the middle of the book, so even if they're only in for the last couple of episodes (and add some filler) this season, they'll still be running short of material for Bran in s5. (I actually feel this will be the case for several other storylines anyway).

Technically speaking, he still has one week or so before being labelled troll.

Regardless, even if the publisher announces some kind of release date, Elio already debunked it as an (incorrect) estimate. In this hypothetical scenario, the incorrect information wouldn't be by Varamyr6Skins fault.

Could you ask George to tell the fans something about the progress he's made regarding TWOW? I mean, if it's too little it can be disappointing, but not knowing anything about it is even worse. I'm fed up with having to search for news about it everyday...

I don't know what good that would do, do you think he doesn't realize that fans would like a progress update? ;)

I'd rather be interested in a straight forward comment regarding the show catching up with the books and how he feels about that. I can live with the lack of progress updates, because I understand why he does it that way. But still talking about the catching up thing as if it's still hypothetical and far away seems dishonest, since he must know better.

I don't think they'd run short of material in S5. His training as a greenseer offers enough material for a season, I think. They can also use the opportunity to give some exposition on the history of Westeros (and give Sean Bean a small cameo).

They have to do adwd with affc otherwise half the cast won't be in the series, simple isn't it?

You don't say.

The Children of the Forest only appear in 1 or 2 chapters, lol

seems to fit right with the book, lol

So why all the posting about going into adwd territory?

lol, and thus getting closer to Winds of Winter material. In a way.

And, yes, march is still busy so we could still see a surprise. And Ran commented on the app, not on the book.

I still think 2015 release for the book.

Question is: will TooL release their new album before or after Winds of Winter (previous album: 2006). :)

My original post stated that I have a friend who is a Random House Employee - True.

"2015" is what it says in the Computer System at Random House -True

Said Employee informed me that Bantam is announcing the release date this month - TRUE

Now if that happens or not is not on me, it's true that's what this employee told me, whom I trust and have known for 18 years.

Said Employee estimates that its coming in spring 2015.

I made the PREDICTION that it would come sooner, this year, around August.

SO PLEASE STOP WITH THE TROLL COMENTS YOU TROLL. YOU'RE NOT MAKING SENSE AND LOOKING BAD. YOU'RE UPSET BECAUSE I MADE A PREDICITON? YOU SILLY FOOL.
