Draco_Dracul
Best-Winter is coming. I wonder if back when the Starks were the Kings of Winter, if it was more a threat than a warning Worst- Growing Strong, boring and not terribly catchy.

JonCon's Red Beard
Best: Ours is the Fury. Second close, Fire and Blood. Worst: Hear me Roar. I've already said, sounds like a cheerleeding squad... "o...k! now... hear us... roar! grrr!".
The Amethyst Empress
Best: Fire and Blood Worst: We do not sow...It's sounds so stupid, they should have used the Drowned God's words "What is dead may never die" it sounds soooo cool
Chebyshov
Worst is definitely "Hear me Roar." Pretty sure an 8-year-old came up with that one. I'm oddly fond of "Growing Strong."

Jory Cassel
Easily Winter is coming. 'Here we stand' is kind of ironic seeing how Jorah ran as Ned approached.
Lady Fevre Dream
I'd probably go with Winter is Coming, Fire and Blood, and Ours is The Fury for the best words. I also like Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken. I've just discovered the Karstark words, The Sun of Winter, and I like it. It's a bit of promise for that Winter that is Coming, LOL Worst has to be: We Do Not Sow. Yeah, I know.......you do not sow, you do not do anything beneficial to society, anything useful, anything even slightly for yourselves, much less anyone else. An honorable mention for House Tollett and Edd. I'm hoping the words When All Is Darkest are official.
Howlin' Howland
Best: Fire and blood. I like it because I think it has a dual meaning. First there's the obvious threat, but I also think it's a reference to the Valyrians practicing blood magic. Worst: Touch me not. It sounds like something you'd say to Jerry Sandusky. complexphoenix
Of the Great Houses, I'd say that the Arryn motto "As High as Honor" is probably the worst. It doesn't really say anything much about the family, nor is it even a good pun like "Growing Strong". It doesn't work all that well in rousing speeches, either. I don't get where all the love for "We Do Not Sow" is coming from. All it basically says is "we're a bunch of thieves." Personally, my favorite is "Winter is Coming" because it gives the members of House Stark a useful reminder of what they ought to be doing as lords of the North. I also have a juvenile fondness for "Fire and Blood", because it just sounds cool.

Quentyn Blackwood
While my favorites bring nothing new to the table i'd say that almoust all of the house words work quite well when shouted in the battlefield by a brisk warrior king of old. Of course "Hear me roar" just reminds me of the song of Katy Perry which kinda lets it down.
Ilúvatar
I'm not sure why Winter is Coming is so popular. Aside from stating the obvious, it's rather redundant when winter actually arrives. Do the Starks all run around saying "I told you so" in smug voices at that point?
Bittertea
The Codd's words are a middle finger to everyone else. 'Everyone hates us, but we know that'.Least fave would be Serret. I have no rival.
