However, Dunk was a KG by that time and in Brandon's vision he didnot have a white cloak. Brienne is definitely a descendant of Dunk but I am not so sure about Hodor.I have always liked the idea of Hodor/The Cleganes/Brienne being Dunk's descendants if for nothing but for the way it portrays all the ways a Knight can take. Immense strength & dexterity but witless, the sheer monster in shiny armour, the disappointed idealist, the talent and calling present, but the knight is of wrong sex etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

More importantly, one should assume/hope that Dunk took his vows seriously and only joined the KG after he had decided that this was what he wanted...
