Ingelheim
4000 agasint 30K ? ur massively overestimating knights here even if the unsullied where only armed with broomsticks and bad language thats far too many for the knights to deal with No...The chivalry has won worse battles than this one. Magnar of Fens
So if the Unsullied are useless against Knights, Daenerys has no infantry, what about Dothraki? their Arakhs are not effective vs. plate armor, Jorah said so, has Dany got any chance at all of conquering? khalhotpie
I'd say 2,000. Doesn't matter. The Westerosi armies consist out of 90+% professional and well-trained soldiers. 90% ? id say 50% at the very most
Magnar of Fens
Depends on those who lead them, with competent commander they might have a chance against knights. With Daneirys...well they screwed. wouldn't Barristan lead them?

All thirty of them currently with Dany. Anyway, they are even worse than the Unsullied. Neither the Unsullied nor the Dothraki will play an important role in Westeros. It's down to sellswords, Ironborn, Westerosi Lords flocking to her banners and most importantly: dragons. 90% ? id say 50% at the very most That has been proven wrong literally a thousand times. With those armies? Not a chance. Not even talking about the low numbers she has. To conquer Westeros, she'll need her dragons. As Aegon did. khalhotpie
Knights were valued as twenty times as powerful as billmen and the like. and pikemen where a cavalymans worst foe These are armoured men with spears, the extra length of the lance along with the weight of the charge will causehavoc in the first few ranks but they arent getting through

E-Ro
The fact that they are cut "root and stem" BEFORE puberty, makes them pretty unrealistic as Soldiers. Im sorry but no amount of discipline is going to make up for the lack of weight, in a push of pike(infantry formations clashing) weight is a factor, as well as discipline and skill of course. They will lose too many men for each man they kill, and while they wont run, they will simply be butchered to a man.And thats ignoring the possibility of them getting flanked by cavalry. Hop-lights were notoriously rigid formations, anyone with cavalry can take advantage of that.Come into my castle Just for reference.

Pikemen were rated at 1/10 knight each. But the Unsullied aren't pikemen, but a sorry replacement for hoplites.

These are not Spanish Tercios, or Spartan or Macedonian phalanx ... these are eunuchs physically weak and they are fighting warriors that historically talking take them almost 2000 years ahead. Wmarshal
The main problem is...they are not SKILLFUL, but fearless, and obedient as hell. Those are their advantages. They can use the short sword and the shield, and are pretty good with the spears...but they are, basically, weak hoplites. They don't have anything but weak weapons and weak constitution. They are well trained, but with their weapons, which are useless against armor. Any knight could crush them easily. Those aren't that good, the lack of fear makes good grapes all the more potent to them.
E-Ro
Spanish Tercios are among the most bad-ass and amazing of infantry formations ever. Comparing them to unsullied is a fucking insult.
Fat Trell
The parallels with Swiss Pikemen don't really hold up imo. The Pikemen were professionals, well versed in fighting all sorts of opponents all over Europe. They were well armed and armored. Have the Unsullied even seen a charge of heavy cavalry?
