Bristol Airport to Cardiff is only about an hour and twenty minutes, Birmingham is just over 2 (I got this train on Saturday). The UK is small. Due to "issues", i.e. the world half marathon being widely announced to run at Easter 2016 in Cardiff two days after we formally launched as a bid (the city marketing board didn't know either), this is now a bid for Eastercon 2017. Voting will take place at Dysprosium, at which point we will be in a position to announce our first GoHs. There will also be a different 2016 bid on the table for voting at Dysprosium.
