I did receive a signed copy of RSuRS from Scott for my recipe, which I cannot exactly remember, as the e-mail is gone rom my end. But I'll give it a shot... It was basically a "Mind Eraser" with era-appropriate ingredients. I know Champagne subbed in for the seven-up, and a fruity brandy for the kahlua, but I can't remember the vodka substitute (might have stuck with vodka anyway). There were two hooks to get it to earn the name of the "Gentleman Bastard" cocktail. First, a Mind Eraser goes down sweet, but it's got a nasty after-effect that you don't see coming, much like our scam artist protagonists. Second, the recipe included three ingredients, so it's creation could be accompanied by "Liar" "Liar" "Liar" for each ingredient, followed by "Bastard" when you finally drink it down, so it matches the official GB toast.
