That would be awesome! To me though, I feel like the reveal must be made in front of the right people. If Ramsay saw something like that he would just cover it up, but IMO, if someone like Stannis found Rhaegar's harp or cloak in her tomb he would realize its importance and would not try to just cover it up or destroy it.

Oh, I had in mind Ramsay and Roose shepherding some prominent Northerners down below to witness the utter destruction of House Stark, and the scheme blowing right into their faces :D

While that would be awesome I think it would need to be more then just Northerners no matter how prominent

Also, the character he voices in that movie is the "Dragon Prince". Interesting... :D

You know what, the conspiracy is real and deep in this thread...

hmmm... any of you R+L=J believer here part of the casting director department of HTTYD 2 ???

I see what you did!

I´ve got just one "funny" idea. It´s part of wider theory, no importent rest of it,... But in AGOT, there´s one paragraph, where it´s kinda suggested that Ned DIDN´T do what Lyanna was begging him to do. What if that was actually something along the lines "Kill that child." Becouse he really was product of rape. The decsion of sparing Jon was actually Ned´s and Ned´s only. Somehow I can see Martin writing it...

When he slept, he dreamed: dark disturbing dreams of blood and broken promises.

Ned didn't keep all his promises. Personally I don't think he promised to raise Jon as his bastard and never tell him where he came from. It's there he failed.

As Varys said he'd read the letter, he never got to tell him (but Bran saw Ned's spirit down in the crypts so he might still get the chance to do so).

I very, very much doubt Lyanna Stark was a monster that would blame an innocent baby if she did get raped - which she didn't - and to say you could see George doing that... Ugh.

So perhaps Lyanna made him make multiple promises, and he broke several of them? (perhaps to tell Jon about his parents, which why he thinks about Jon while in the Black Cells, hoping to see and speak with him)

The multiple can then be:

"Tell him about his mother. Tell him about his father." That could count as two promises, that Ned obviously did not keep.

I am sure Ned didn't want to keep Lyanna's promise. Hiding Jon would put him a direct odds of the man he just fought to make King and who was not only his best friend but was now his sworn King.

Imagine if Robert had learned the truth. Ned would probably be killed not to mention the child.

That might be it. It's been a while since I read AGoT and I honestly didn't remember that quote. Shortly afterwards Varys comes to visit Ned and that's when Ned asks if Varys will carry a message for him. He didn't end up writing the letter because Varys told him that if he confesses his crimes he will be made to take the black. Going to The Wall would've given Ned an opportunity to send a message to Winterfell or speak to Jon.

I agree with this. I think the "promise me, Ned" is more than just "look after the baby."

1) don't let them kill my son

2) raise him as your own

3) Tell him someday.

It's the third one that he couldn't keep. When Ned was in the Black Dungeons and Varys tells him that Cersei was going to let him take the Black, Ned thinks about Jon and how it would be good to sit and talk with him, tell him everything. I think he knew, at that point, that he had never fulfilled Lyanna's request, not all of them. But by taking the black, he could keep his promise and honor in regards to his sister.

I have an idea about Prologue of TWOW/ADOS.

We see a boy reading some scrolls with cryptic messages and maybe some dream/prophecy stuff in coded language (we readers already know the essentials, so no need for full reveal). Afterwards the boy leaves library, walks through the courtyard, where knights are practicing (maybe through some names like White Bull, Barristan the Bold). Boy walks to Master at Arms and says "Sir Darry

It seems I must be a warrior". How is that for a prologue?
