Stan Man
I noticed that the Amazon price for TWoIaF is only $25. Will that price go up once the book is actually on sale? Have you preordered it, or will you wait until the book comes out?
King Tyrion I
Although I'm not a US citizen I'm able to answer your question: I pre-ordered it.
Rhaenys_Targaryen
Prices usually get higher the closer to the release date you getAn example:I preordered Rogues a week after the release date had been announced, but three days before the release I had to cancel my order and reorder it (since I unexpectedly would be on another location for an unknown amount of time, and there was no one emto accept the book in my stead, and you can't change the location of delivery once you've ordered). All in all, I ended up paying 4 or 5 euro's more for the book. Now, that isn't all too bad, but the price did go up in multiple steps. Seems to me that's just marketing strategy. So I preorder, definitely.
Dornish Vinegar
If my local bookstore decides to have any kind of event for the release, I'll hold off on pre-ordering and just wait. The ceremony and all the people is part of the fun, imo.
