Johto
I've always been confused about this. The asoiaf wiki claims that he was buried at Storm's End, and there are several references across the internet to it being GRRM who has said this. But Renly has already fled King's Landing by the time that Robert dies. So how does this all work? Is Robert buried at Storm's End without Renly's permission, or does Renly kind of oversee the burial before he then makes his bid for the throne? I know it's not a really pressing issue, but I'm curious. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? :)
Viserys - The last dragon
With Renly's permission of course, why would he not allow that? I cant understand how this is confusing.. :P
Johto
Well because isn't he already in Highgarden plotting to be King? :P Does he just casually liaise with Cersei and the rest of the small council that Robert be brought back to Storm's End
Archmaester Drew
Robert's remains were probably brought to Storm's End by the silent sisters, and interred by the castellan. :)
oopeed
Sad how the king got almost no attention in that matter. Even Joffrey got a funeral and a bit of fraternal love during the vigil that no one attended.
JonCon's Red Beard
Maybe we'll found out more now that Storm's End has been taken by Aegon Sad how the king got almost no attention in that matter. Even Joffrey got a funeral and a bit of fraternal love during the vigil that no one attended. There was one, Cersei mentioned it during Feast. I suppose we didn't see it.
