So where the hell did that old dragon come from? How the hell did it grow that much? Why the hell did nobody see it except Summer? Where the hell is it now?

Below we have Ghost barring his teeth to the moon, which is definitely not a living creature.

“Snow.” An icicle tumbled from a branch. The white wolf turned and bared his teeth.

Did the moon disappear after? No.

That is the worst bunch of crap I've ever heard.

SO A WOLF PROVIDED US A METAPHORICAL VISION OF JON (WHO'S PARENTAGE WE DON'T KNOW AT THIS POINT) RISING FROM WINTERFELL...YEARS AFTER HE LEFT WINTERFELL!? DURING THE SACK!? That makes no sense. So much less sense than a dragon...

Stupidest, most dismissive crap-debunking effort of an obvious dragon sighting by the character with the best eyesight in the series.

That quote was about the Pact of Ice and Fire, not whatever Summer thought he saw.

And how many days passed after the supposed hatching of that egg during the sack of Winterfell and Summer seeing it? A few at most. Do you think that dragon could grow as large as the image Summer saw?

But Winterfell was sacked by Ramsay's men, surely they would have noticed Dragon eggs, or a newly hathed dragon? And what of the Ironborn who were there beforehand? You don't think they looted from the castle at all?

I find it difficult to see how any dragon eggs or.newly hatched dragons would go unnoticed, personally.

They didn't find the four people hiding in the crypts. Probably can assume they didn't actually search the crypts for anything (people, treasure, dragons, dragon eggs, etc.). Now, those hiding in the crypts might have noticed a dragon hatching, although as others have pointed out, we don't know how far the crypts go...

Not the same. The return of the dragons augurs the return of magic in general. If there were still other dragons hanging around, that impact doesn't really make much sense. - That depends - if they're just dragon eggs then the impact is exactly the same. If Dany's *eggs* had no affect on magic, then it stands to reason that any dragon eggs in Winterfell won't affect magic either. A hatched dragon on the other hand might make a difference, but the Others were already coming south before Dany's dragons hatched, so maybe magic helped hatch the dragons rather than the dragons helping/bringing magic.

It's not simply Dany. The relighting of the glass candles at the Citadel, most obviously. It makes no sense for there to have been other dragons around the whole time, let alone in Winterfell somehow. Again, dragon *eggs* or dragons. And again, how do we know what came first? Others had already reappeared, maybe this whole argument is a chicken vs egg argument. Did magic help hatch dragons? Or did dragons bring back magic? But the Others were already coming back *before* the dragons hatched and *before* the comet appeared.
