So, the deadline has ended. Should any of you not have sent in answers or new clues or wish to change anything, do so soon.

If I counted correctly, two of the new clues are missing. Probably it's similar with the round one answers. I'll assemble and count what I have till now.

If I'm still missing replies by the time I'm finished with that, shall I wait or proceed?

Theme: Fathered at least one daughter

Three people guessed the theme correctly: Queen_Cersei_II, redriver and a shadow, in the last case at least thanks to Castellan's in-thread hint about the theme clue (Castellan herself sadly ignored that hint). Three more people figured it had something to do with people having daugthers or children of the opposite gender, and got half theme points for that.

Our last game's host a shadow shares the top spot with our new player Rhaena Sandship. Rhaena got there by guessing all characters correctly and getting half the theme points. A shadow had two wrong answers, but got the theme and more author points, including two favourite votes. With just one point distance, Queen_Cersei_II is following them.

Most (three) favourite votes where given to Woofless' clue for Tytos Blackwood.

Oh man! I had Cleos and then changed it because I couldn't remember him having daughters. Went with Tyrion because a lot of people think Lanna in Braavos might be his daughter. I completely blanked on the Brackens and Blackwoods. Went with Bloodraven for Clue 1 (on the Melony Seastar theory), and don't remember who I threw in for Clue 7. For 11 I thought of the Roose is descended from Night's King theory and was thinking that Walda's baby could maybe be a girl.

Oh, right, I forgot:

And I thought the "Bent, then didn't subdue archrival" part was great, I just feared the "obligated" would be misinterpreted. But in the end I fear I gave you a quiet minor character. Well, there are many more minor characters to come in the next rounds :P

Now that round 1 is done, I'd like your opinion about two topics:

1. What do you think about the theme clue? Is it fine? Is it horrible and we should abolish it starting with round 3? Shall I make them more obvious?

2. Are the prelims fine as they are? Do you want more questions? No prelims at all? Send in your list the learn how many but not which you got right?

I'd say it's all fine. The theme clue thing did throw me off course but in retrospect I should have got it. I was too stubborn in the path I was taking to see the correct path that was right there next to me.

Edit: Just to say that I love that there have been slight variations in the system in each game. I don't think there should ever be one definite system. Keeps things fresh and interesting.
