SA won easily in the end. Harmer bowled really well on debut -- picking up 7 wickets in the match -- and has definitely put himself in contention for the specialist spinner position. Sure, he could have allowed the innings to continue and make the Test safe but that would have been at the expense of not leaving enough overs to bowl SL out. Nah, the bat hit the ground at the same time as the ball hit the pad. There was a double noise- no way he can assume that the ball didn't hit the inside edge first. Australia still need five wickets in only 20 overs so probably still favouring a draw, but the bowling and the pitch are currently looking quite dangerous. Should be an exciting end!
