Neal
This hotel has so many sports channels and not one with cricket. I am disappoint. (Not unexpected of course but still)

Petyr's Little Finger
Pakistan did well to keep India to 300. Looked like they were gonna get 320 or 330. 300 might not be enough, we shall see.
desire
Was hoping for a huge upset by Zimbabwe over SA. Wonderful fight back by Miller and Duminty. Also note were the batting by Hamilton scoring a quick 80Still Hope the Aussies win it all but the black caps look deadly and after this solid partnership and Kohli knocking a ton anyone could win it. Lets just pray it isn't England :P
Jeor
Ouch, a good old Pakistani collapse has destroyed their chances in this match. Still, if they are going to pull off a miracle, the two guys they have at the crease (Misbah and Afridi) are the two that could make it happen. But it's a long way away. The Anti-Targ
They were 8 down and still needed 130 runs to win. There was no chance of a win. And I would contest him farming the strike would have meant a smaller loss than they had. Finn clearly couldn't handle Johnson and Starc, putting him on strike just cost them a wicket for one run. As some commenters on Cricinfo pointed out, net run rate can come into play if England or Aussie end up on the same number of points as another team in determining who gets to progress through the competition or how the teams enter the knock out stage. The win was in the bag, but maximising runs is still important even when a win is all but impossible. So farming the strike is probably the right strategy at that point, but that still does not excuse the error on the part of the umpires in not being clear on the rules. It's a rule that is probably rarely brought into play, but this is the cricket world cup. Match officials in world cups of any code should know the rules back to front and inside out. Petyr's Little Finger
Pakistan still have a chance if these two stay for a while and put on runs.

Consigliere
Zimbabwe put up a great effort and at 80 odd for four, SA were in some trouble. Thankfully we were able to post a big total and get the win. If Zim can keep these performance levels up they could sneak into the QF's. West Indies, beware. Takeaway from the WC so far: bat first, bat first, bat first.

Petyr's Little Finger
Zimbabwe couldn't capitalize when they had SA at 83/4, and Duminy and Miller played really well, and the total was just a bit too much for Zim. Still its hard to see them not causing an upset. Pakistan gave away too many runs in the middle part of India's innings, and they couldn't take singles and twos that well in their own innings. Credit to Misbah though, he played well in a losing cause.

Zimbabwe did look pretty good against one of the tournament favourites, probably better than I expected them to be. Pakistan gave away too many runs in the middle part of India's innings, and they couldn't take singles and twos that well in their own innings. Credit to Misbah though, he played well in a losing cause. I think he probably has plenty of practise as doing that, he must get frustrated at the other batsmen failing so often.
