Lost Melnibonean
What more elaborate answer could it be? The two of them, as the GNC theory says, are allies; they're on the same team against Bolton. It makes sense for them to talk to each other and discuss their plans. But why those two, and what plans were those two making? We can all assume that most Northmen are chafing under Roose's yolk, and that most would prefer norther leadership over Stannis, but what specifically Harwood of House Stout, sworn to House Dustin, and Hother of House Umber discussing as Stannis's march was stalling in the snow, and Ramsay was causing the Ned's "daughter" to weep? Rhaenys_Targaryen
Did anyone proved a convincing theory on Dany's vision in the House of the Undying of a naked woman with 4 little (dwarf) men on top of her? There's also the theory that the woman represents the Seven Kingdoms, and that the dwarves are the four claimants to the crown who are still alive at that moment, who are destroying the 7K. Ser Creighton
There's also the theory that the woman represents the Seven Kingdoms, and that the dwarves are the four claimants to the crown who are still alive at that moment, who are destroying the 7K.Could be but if you look the visions are in reverse chronological order. It's backwards, start with the last vision and work your way back.Rhaegar and the birth of Aegon.Aerys right before the sack of KLDarry and Dany on BraavosThe Red WeddingThe woman and the 4 dwarfs with rat like faces. If that order is correct it's not the war of 5 kings. Which never made sense because the little rat guys are not fighting each other or in conflict. It appears they are working together.I once proposed that this was the Night's Queen/Heart of winter and that the little Rat faced people are actually symbolic of the Squirrel people. Good point about the chronological order, I haven't thought of that. Could you elaborate on your Night's queen/Squirrel people?
Lost Melnibonean
Can anybody else here imagine Ser Creighton and Ser Eustace Osgrey regaling new forum members and young squires with crackpot theories and tales of brave Blackfyre supporters, all while sipping hippocras by the hearth fire? Doesn't make it true either, we all know that.
Ser Creighton
Good point about the chronological order, I haven't thought of that. Could you elaborate on your Night's queen/Squirrel people? It's not really the place for it, but I will give a brief reasoning.Dany has Qauithe she is the mother of Dragons and Dany is very symbolic of fire. I simply inverse her story. So I think Bloodraven has the Night's Queen aka the Mother of the Others or at least is sort of controling her. The Squirrle people are also known as the children of the forest. A lot of people think they are good, but I don't. I feel like they are playing a game of chess in a way. I don't even know if Bloodraven is alive or just a puppet of the children, he has a root where his brain used to be and his bones are showing and his flesh is rotting.Anyway that is about it, it's not real complex, just two opposing sides. There is some other stuff, but like I said this is not a theories thread. but think about this the Children are being Nice to man for what reason? Man has destroyed them, destroyed their gods. But who knows maybe they are the super kind race and just want to help man continue his destructive ways.Interesting..At the very least the order is intresting, especially given the last scene in that hallway. Where is the Darkness coming from? What does Dany do, she is trying to go left, but there is no door. Why? Because the last door on the left is the first door on the right. The journey inverts and it starts over, Once again the Warlock and the Dwarf and a new door. "To go forward you must go back." Get it? If she were to turn around and go back, she would be going forward.Ok I am done, I don't want to derail this thread an get in trouble.

Ima Faceless Man
Another question: Did Arya's journey with Yoren and later the Mountain take her around the God's Eye on the west side or the east? I thought it was to the west but I have a large set of maps one of which is journeys of various key characters and they show it was to the east. UPDATE: I found it in ACOK. Page 138 of the small paperback. Yoren says: "The Kingsroad won't be safe till we're across the Trident. So we'll come up around the lake along the western shore, they're not like to look for us there". At the next spot where two ruts cut across each other, he turned the wagons west. So unless someone knows where the book changes their journey I'm assuming the map is wrong.
