cosmicteeth
If you could have any 9 characters from our beloved asoiaf at a poker table who would they be?Also pick a winner, I'll start off,1. Tyrion Lannister 2. Tywin Lannister3. Doran Martell4. Olenna Tyrell5. Littlefinger6. Varys7. Bloodraven (no warging allowed)8. Bronn9. Brynden Tully (blackfish)After much thought I'm going to go with Olenna taking it out, she's a master at small talk and would have a great read :cool4:

Olenna'sCheese
I'd love to watch Dolorous Edd playing. He'd be brilliant, he could totally convince you he had a horrendous hand. Knowing him, though, he probably would. That said, I'd just love to watch Edd in general.
koitos kavala
Missandei, Tycho Nestoris, Illyrio, Varys, Doran, Tyrion, Littlefinger, Quaithe, Patchface. The casino would kick out Quaithe and Patchface yet allow the eleven-year-old to play after the rest of the table persuade them and bribe them. Littlefinger's loose-aggressive style would yield an early chiplead but he'd eventually bust. On the lunchbreak, after Tyrion and Doran discuss, Illyrio and Varys are kicked out for collusion. Time passes and Tyrion is getting too drunk to make good decisions, and is the next one to go. Doran made it to the final three because he's a nit, but the raised blinds begin to eat him alive, and he has to shove with King-Queen offsuit, losing to Missandei's AQ. Heads-up Missandei would play strong but Tycho's age and experience in mathematical reasoning would triumph.
Balerion the one eared cat
1.Tywin2. Tyrion3. Varys4. Littlefinger5. Olenna Tyrell6. Jon Arryn7. Stannis8. Roose Bolton9. Maybe Aegon? Or possibly Doran, maybe even Sarella Sand (Doran even says in AFFC "let Sarella play her little...game" ) Also, why top nine? Nine is such a random number! koitos kavala
Also, why top nine? Nine is such a random number! Nine is the number of players in a full ring. 9 and 6 would make sense, both 10 and 5 would be ill-fitting and arbitrary
Balerion the one eared cat
Nine is the number of players in a full ring. 9 and 6 would make sense, both 10 and 5 would be ill-fitting and arbitrary I just demonstrated my complete lack of knowledge of how to play poker properly. I apologise for my ignorance. :bang: :bang: :bang:
Nerevanin
Doesn't Jaime say about Meryn Trant (I hope it is he) that his face is impossible to read so he can be a deadly rival?

Ned the Living
C'mon, Varys? Varys would be terrible. He can't even read JOFFREY, the most obvious, simple person in all of Westeros. Now, the people I'd want to play with are... 9 is also a lot for a poker game... and not a round number either... that's a weird way to phrase a question. 1.) Stannis Baratheon - would not cheat 2.) Ned Stark - ditto 3.) Tywin Lannister - Lannisters always pay their debts 4.) Kevan Lannister - ditto 5.) Tyrion Lannister - ditto 6.) Rhaegar Targaryen - he has no luck on the river 7.) Jaime Lannister - ditto, plus... you know, pays his debts 8.) Brienne of Tarth - no luck on the river 9.) Berric Dondarrion - dead money, but he keeps buying back in

Your right about Varys, dude stood there with his mouth open and his queen high.I guess I'll replace Varys with, Lord Robert, that dude could read people and he also always wins in games, thats only proper, don't you think?
