If you could have any 9 characters from our beloved asoiaf at a poker table who would they be?

Also pick a winner, I'll start off,

1. Tyrion Lannister
2. Tywin Lannister
3. Doran Martell
4. Olenna Tyrell

5. Littlefinger
6. Varys
7. Bloodraven (no warging allowed)
8. Bronn
9. Brynden Tully (blackfish)

After much thought I'm going to go with Olenna taking it out, she's a master at small talk and would have a great read :cool4:

1. Petyr Baelish

2. Varys

3. Tywin Lannsiter

4. Olenna Tyrell

5. Doran Martell

6. Tyrion Lannister

7. Margaery Tyrell

8. Wyman Manderly

9. Roose Bolton.

I think Roose will win just.

Roose's stare downs would be frightening, plus the whole flaying thing..

Missandei, Tycho Nestoris, Illyrio, Varys, Doran, Tyrion, Littlefinger, Quaithe, Patchface.

The casino would kick out Quaithe and Patchface yet allow the eleven-year-old to play after the rest of the table persuade them and bribe them.

Littlefinger's loose-aggressive style would yield an early chiplead but he'd eventually bust. On the lunchbreak, after Tyrion and Doran discuss, Illyrio and Varys are kicked out for collusion. Time passes and Tyrion is getting too drunk to make good decisions, and is the next one to go.

Doran made it to the final three because he's a nit, but the raised blinds begin to eat him alive, and he has to shove with King-Queen offsuit, losing to Missandei's AQ. Heads-up Missandei would play strong but Tycho's age and experience in mathematical reasoning would triumph.

Doesn't Jaime say about Meryn Trant (I hope it is he) that his face is impossible to read so he can be a deadly rival?

Indeed. Ser Meryn has a good poker face.

2. The waif always knows a lie

3. The kindly man as well

4. Tywin has a face of stone

5. Griff will soon have a face of stone

6. Stonehearts eyes look into you

7. Dany is a little girl and doesn't understand cards, great bluff

8. Varys probably cheats, leaves powder on the cards

9. Shagga can roll them dice, I trust him with cards too

Eta obviously Shagga wins

C'mon, Varys? Varys would be terrible. He can't even read JOFFREY, the most obvious, simple person in all of Westeros.

Now, the people I'd want to play with are... 9 is also a lot for a poker game... and not a round number either... that's a weird way to phrase a question.

1.) Stannis Baratheon - would not cheat

2.) Ned Stark - ditto

3.) Tywin Lannister - Lannisters always pay their debts

4.) Kevan Lannister - ditto

5.) Tyrion Lannister - ditto

6.) Rhaegar Targaryen - he has no luck on the river

7.) Jaime Lannister - ditto, plus... you know, pays his debts

8.) Brienne of Tarth - no luck on the river

9.) Berric Dondarrion - dead money, but he keeps buying back in

@And the living

Lmao. Rhaegar on the river.

Your right about Varys, dude stood there with his mouth open and his queen high.

I guess I'll replace Varys with, Lord Robert, that dude could read people and he also always wins in games, thats only proper, don't you think?
