naseridrl Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Has it ever been said why Dorne is called Dorne but all the other realms of Westeros have descriptive common tongue names? The COTF called it the empty land and it wasn't united for a long time, so maybe the Rhoynar named it when they came and united it.
