Crastors Child
One of my favourite characters from Dance With Dragons was Strong Belwas. He loved eating horse meat and onions, honeyed locusts and letting people he fought cut him once before he killed them.in the upcoming TV show we are shown a couple if clips with Danny, Unsullied and Ser Jorrah fighting and/or surrounded in a gladiator pit. If the author or TV producer wanted to insert Strong Belwas into show, now is the season it could be done. Give him half a dozen lines and have standing behind Danny saying bugged all for the rest f the show for all I care. But to omit the Bi Fella (sheiks the size of a pie dish and a one inch thick strip of studded leather armour across his bear chest) would be a crime of the highest calibre. If your a big fan of Strong Belwas and his role as Danny's Bodyguard and Champion sound off like you've got a pair...
Frey family reunion
I'm a big fan of the Big Man, but I doubt the show brings him in (even though it would have added a needed comedic element to Dany's storyline). For the old school pro wrestling fans out there, it's too bad that Abdhulla the Butcher is too old to cast in the part, he's the one that I picture everytime I read Belwas in the story. I live in the Bay Area and we just had wrestlemania out here this last weekend and I got to hear an interview with Jimmy "the mouth of the south" Hart and he was telling some stories from the old school days of pro wrestling that were just awesome to hear.Op, I love Belwas too, but I think that ship has sailed for the show. They just don't care, D&D would rather fill screen time with crappy love plots between characters that have no significance to the overall story and pointless T&A scenes. Also, this thread probably should have been posted in the show sub-forum. Abby would be great. He's already fat and scarred... and dangerous with a fork.

Crastors Child
In the TV show, Tyrion and the spider will arrive soon at a port. Maybe the same one where the a Cheese Monger is from (in the books) Strong Belwas could be given as an armed escort for Tyrion and The Spider and be introduced into the TV show from there. The will need protection on their quest to find Dany..... Anyways, here's to dreaming....
Pashernate Reader
They've obviously given his role to TV Daario. A huge mistake, if you ask me.

Khal Shaggydog
Abdullah the Butcher is classic, and totally Strong Belwas. I've said this before - this is the guy they should have brought on, and I have no idea how D&D could pass up on such a great fit: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1711334/
Philpenn
^^ Perfect guy for the role. What a waste by the show.
Crastors Child
When Dany and her unsullied were surrounded in the fighting pit, the doors should have swung outward and Strong Belwas, The Spotted Cat, Khrazz and all the other pit fighters who align with Dany in DWD's could have made their enterance. A massive fight it the pit ensures and more background support characters introduced, all before Drogo emerges to whisk her away on his back.
