Again, time to discuss what your favorite moments were from this episode...

I had quite a few:

1. Jon's reaction to Stannis offering him the North

2. Information about the Mad King (finally!)

3. Dany gets into a Robb Stark situation

4. Kevan Lannister drops the mic on Cersei

5. Drogon is HUGE!

6. Sam's speech about Jon (and his insults of Janos Slynt)

What were your favorites?

Jon/Davos/Stannis scene and the Wall arc in general is strong this year.Lyanna Mormont letter was a nice touch(thanks for that D&D) and the WF offer with "The North Remembers" theme to it.

LC feels a little bit rushed too,but given the structure of the Wall arc last season.Maybe WF offer should've been in the previous episode and give it more weight. It is what it is.I like that part in Sam's speech about Lord Janos Slynt "the Brave" hiding with Gilly and her baby.Good job Sam.

Dany/Drogon(on steroids...Ghost/Drogon both are huge like WTF) scene was heartwarming a lot thanks to that wonderful theme(Ramin Djawadi is great).Good way to end the episode.Execution was handled well.Meereen is probably becoming my favourite arc(for the first since season 1).

Shireen is such a sweetheart.Gilly/Sam/Shireen scene about greyscale was awesome.Kerry Ingram is doing a really good job with this role.

Doran and Areo Hotah. No need to explain that.Arya's arch will be strong this year and this was a promising start to it.Kevan/Jaquen back.

- Arya's entrance to Braavos. Should have been the first time we saw the Titan though.

- Kevan telling Cersei to F off.

- Bronn!

- Dany and Barristan's talk about the Mad King.

- The election. Especially Sam calling out Slynt, and Maester Aemon's little smirk, and then being the deciding vote.

- Dany and Drgon. It got me right in the feels.

Yeah, I think there was quite a bit to like in this one:

- The little bear seal/drawing in Lyanna's letter

- The cut to the dwarf head (pun unintended)

- Sam being a badass

- Lollys being an actual character with like a personality instead of a borderline offensive prop

- Kevan being Kevan

- Jaqen making a well-deserved comeback

This. Just this.

The guy who plays Jaqen is back and i lurves hims. He gives me the dokis. What a hunkcicle. Im glad they put him as the Kindly Man's face. :V

Maester Aemon pulls for Jon.

Gilly/Shireen friendship is awww and yiss. Out of fuggin' nowhere but still nice.

Lollys. lolololol

I didnt like the Tyrion scene but i loved that wagon they were in. Its posh as fuck.

Kevan Kevan Kevan Kevan hoo hoo hoo!

Barristan telling Dany whats up with Mad King Aerys and how he handled shit. Dany's reactions this week were FINALLY on point. Like, i finally saw Daenerys Targaryen for the first time in hella seasons.

Jon being Jon. <333

Arya's severing of pigeon head because of the obvious callback.

Likewise. I also like the presence of Maester Aemon, and that he gave the winning vote to Jon. Not to mention Lyanna Mormont's letter, and more of Barristan Selmy's voice of reason.

The awesome dynamic between Jon and Stannis continues.

-Shireen teaching Gilly how to read. Unexpected but delightful.

-Kevan as the Small Council.

-The Lyanna Mormont letter, with the added bonus of Jon laughing about it.

-Barristan talking about the Mad King.

-Daario stabbing that guy through the wall.

-Lollys! Added bonus by correcting the mistake that Stokeworth is currently ruled by a Lord and not a Lady.

-Ser Alliser. Sam admits that Ser Alliser fought bravely against the Wildlings and Alliser admits that he can't argue with what Sam said about Jon. His bringing up Jon's connection with the Wildlings was a valid concern to raise. I like that they are making Ser Alliser a more layered character.

Loved Sam putting Slynt in his place, and Sansa clearly getting smarter about trusting folk, too bad Brienne is actually telling the truth. Having Jaquen back was lovely! Dany knowing what it feels like to be Rob Stark... that was priceless. Also glad Drogon came back. A little confused about the switch with Ellaria's motivations but ultimately it looks like they're reducing the number of characters so I'm for it. All around enjoyable episode!

[Edit] Also Kevan smacking Cersei down. Awesome!

2 scenes that had me cheering:

1. Sam's awesome campaign speech for Jon, complete with humiliation for that slimy toad Janos Slynt.

2. The reveal of old-man-to-Jaqen hit me out of nowhere and I leaped out of my seat yelling YESSS!! Loved that surprise change! :D
