I refused to believe that they killed Ser Barriston, but that 2 seconds of preview for next weeks episode does make it look real. Why have the final throat slice interrupted?

I was actually really stoked about that fight when I first saw the episode a month ago. I was cheering even. This was assuming Barry lived. I'm pretty pissed now.

I wonder if this was who Benioff meant. That one panel from a few months ago that I watched on youtube had Benioff mention a "total dick" castmember that they killed off, and the actor really gave them a hard time about it.

I assumed it was Aiden Gillan the entire time. Could it have been Ian?

This is bullshit though, Ser Barriston was my favorite side character in the entire series, and I was stoked when he started getting his own POV chapters.

Am I going down the path of a lot of people on this board? I used to love both the show and the novels equally, but the more this goes on, the less the series is doing as much for me.

Well, love Ramin's music as always, and the show still looks cool.

As much as people hate it. I understand killing off Barristan. It opens the door for Jorah's return. The audience is heavily invested in Jorah and Dany's relationship. She will need some she can trust to fill the void. I now Jorah betrayed her, but it opens up for a redemption arc for Jorah. So I can rock with it.

Sansa looking distressed whilst sitting and talking with Ramsay and Theon, apparently. Mid-season, Alfie's comment comes to my mind. Reek's loyalty is tested, and we see Sansa walking and crying, and more Sansa staring at the flayed bodies in Winterfell.

Think Ramsey had Theon say how he burned the boys?

Okay, now that we all watched it...

I'm sure Sansa's controversial scene is next week. I'm thinking Sansa will have to see Theon's parts, and I don't think it will be pleasant. Either that or Theon will be forced to narrate how he flayed Sansa's brothers, and I'm sure more psychological torture and threat of rape and murder.

I agree on what could happen..no way is Sansa getting raped..I think Myranda will take Jeyne's place in that and Sansa might be witness to it, unwilling or not..i think Myranda will threaten her in some way or even physically or sexually assault her which will piss Ramsay off cuz she'll be forcing the attention of Roose and Ramsay will punish her

You can have both Jorah and Selmy.

I think Jorah will end up with Grayscale... possible next week.

Not really. They didn't do well together the first time, it would be even worse a second time.

She needs a void in her life to consider taking back Jorah, anyhow. This provides that void.

You underestimate Dave, Dan and Cogman . . .

Why is Littlefinger now speaking like he did in S1 and not like the weird Irish throat sore batman villain from S2-4? Did he forget how to act for 3 years? Or did nobody notice until now how bad that was? Have to give major props to Gillen and Harrington this season for having really good performances in wake of some shaky stuff in earlier seasons.

Perhaps he's using her as bait to get the North to rise against the Boltons. Also, he can now tell Cersei that Sansa ran away to WInterfell from KL and the Boltons are sheltering her. There goes the Boltons' cover from KL.

Ooo that makes good sense
