He might even get along with Stannis' daughter like he got along with Myrcella. If Joffrey was still a little psycho, Stannis can mold him into westeros version of Dexter. BronnBlackwater Posted May 9, 2015 Share Posted May 9, 2015 I think Stannis would have done an excellent job, his views are maybe a little too black and white when it comes to areas that require leniency but overall he would have been a good choice. I think one issue is that since Joffrey was the crown prince he needed to stay in Kings Landing to learn how to rule ... but Robert didn't seem to be doing any of that and Jon Arryn was too busy to fill in. I think sending him to Renly would have been the way to go if he wanted to foster him out, Edric Storm seemed to turn out ok.On another note, why wasn't Tommen fostered out to Storms End or Casterly Rock as he would likely have ended up in one of those two places when he grew up?
