This is just terrible writing. She could kill Ramsay and Roose next week. Littlefinger could show up with Cersei and all her enemies gagged for her to kill but it wouldn't made this dumb as nails arc make sense. The writers just thought it would be "super fresh" to put her in Jeyne's role without doing any of the work so they did it. If they had really planned this since season 2 then they must have forgotten about it completely until the day before the scripts were due this year.She laying in bed depressed and in pain, but she knows she has to move or die trying. Broken (to me) would have been if she lay on the bed with her back to Theon (and the world), refusing to move or help herself.
