Could Melisandre die this season? (Spoilers)

It's clear that many people are predicting another confrontation between Stannis and Mel this season, and that this will result in the latter being executed.

What will this mean for the book (where she isn't dead), as well as show continuity as they've been pushing the relationship with Jon as well as another meeting with Arya after their first in season 3?

I personally think that it would be too soon to kill her off, especially with the links between her and Bloodraven that could become significant in later seasons, but it will be intriguing to find out why exactly the writers made her leave the wall with Stannis.
