This episode made me very upset, but the things I did like:

Daario and Hizdar's banter. Jorah throwing the spear at the Harpy. The fighting was pretty good. Doran. The Bravvosi banker. Ironically I liked a lot of things I havent liked in previous episodes.

I wanted to add to my original list

-the actor playing Doran is quite charismatic looking. There is something about his face that is compelling.

-Doran asking Bron if he might like some soup, instead of pie, after Bronn is smacked in the face as his consequence

-like others, Bron asking if he is going to like the end of his walk

Lets see positive things to say about the episode...

I would say they've got Thorne's character right. A man who does his duty despite his lack of respect for his commanding officer.

I think it would be cool if he has the mutineers killed while Jon is recovering it would be in character.

Also I liked the Dany Drogon scene it was a lot more epic then I expected. I was afraid it was going to be a small arena.

  • The acting of Team Dragonstone: Liam Cunningham, Stephen Dillane, Kerry Ingram & Tara Fitzgerald nailed all their scenes (the final one was so horrible though :crying: )

Dorne and Braavos were... actually interesting!

Loved Trant calling the Tyrells treasonous cunts  You can guess who he's been bitching with over the Dornish Red

Glad that Indira Varma actually got to show she can act and her scene and open-mindedness to Jaime was sweet

Interesting that Trystane is going to KL (does this mean the Sand Snakes aren't?)

Bronn getting smacked :cool4: (and he is still alive! Very surprised about that!)

Daznak was awesome! And Dany and Missandei holding hands was endearing

Tyrion/Daario/Hizadahr conversation was funny and a nice lighthearted touch before (and after) all the drama

Dany riding Drogon was pretty epic!

The two standouts for this episode were:

1. Everyone's acting during the sacrifice scene. Stephen Dillane's face and Kerry Ingram's screams will haunt my dreams for weeks.

2. Ser Jorah's fighting pit debut. I loved that they portrayed him as a very good fighter but not invincible. He got way lucky with that Braavosi.

- Thorne calling Jon 'Jon Snow'

- Doran Martell

- Ellaria's scene with Doran and then her apology to Jaime

- Davos Shireen conversation

- Selyse breaking and trying to run to Shireen

- Kerry Ingram's acting

- Daario/Hizdhar exchange about pit fighting

- Daenerys/Hizdhar exchange about a good reason to die

- Daario telling Hizdhar to shut his mouth

- Jorah killing the first son of the Harpy

- Sons of the Harpy emerging from the crowd

- Daenerys putting her trust in Jorah

- everybody knows they will die and they are all prepared

- Daenerys holding Missandei's hand

- Tyrion and Daario watching out for Missandei

- DROGON

- Daenerys riding Drogon

- Tyrion's facial expressions channeling the feelings of the audience

I loved this shit.

Yup! Entirely agree. But does anyone else think that Ellaria's change of tack with Jaime means she's plotting something? Poor Jaime. Another of the buggers. As if he hasn't had enough with Cersei all these years

She looked sincere enough to me when she pledge to Doran. I don't think she'd risk her life for revenge.

I liked Shireen playing with the wooden stag, there was a torch behind Shireen and the camera angle made it look like the stag was on fire.

Mace talking to reprsentative of the Iron Bank about cutting hands off from moneylenders was wonderful as everything that has to do with Mace.

maybe sj4iy found it funny? lol

I appreciate the defense, but I'd rather people not respond to these types of off-topic inflammatory comments...it could end up shutting down this thread. Thank you, though ^^

I noticed that too, very good.

I also liked that Davos was whittling wood in Castle Black while talking to Stannis, presumably it was the stag in the making.

1. dany astride drogon like a boss

2. jorah kicking some ass

3. stannis showed up for the hateful character he always has been. he's up there with the likes of ramsey and cersei now on the scale of evil.

Cersei would never do that....
