CatelynBaelish
Only the no skill (excluding tyrion here) characters are left. All we have left is the kind of characters we would find in a Disney story (dany, jorah, Sam, Sansa) and the evil characters like Bolton+lannister. D&D and Martin day they avoid good vs evil but this is eclxactly what's happened. All the characters who experience true internal conflict and are truly stoic despite their flaws (jon, stannis) are dead. There is not a single interesting and deep character besides tyrion and Arya left. Congrats for the shot story. And don't tell me jon will be resurrected cuz this:http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/14/game-thrones-jon-dies-interview
Stonehearted Snake
Why would people who only watch the show watch this show again next season?? Jon's a gonner, Dany looks like she has been captured and Arya is blind. The special effects team that removed all of Lena Headys Tattoos deserve awards They do deserve an award but not for removing her tattoos - because that was a body double ;) It really looks seamless! hiemal
There was a time when this show felt the luxury of subtlety.
jelfling78
I'm sure that Kit's coming back, but i don't think he will next year. Actually i don't think the NW will feature either. They seem to have enough to put the wall on the backburner for a season unfortunately. Brans back Dorne and KL getting into it Dany and Dothraki Jorah and Daario on their quest to rescue Dany Randyll Tarley. So Reach vs Lannisters Vale vs Winterfell Brienne, Theon and possibly Brienne and Pod on a mission for Bran and Rickon, possibly with Davos. Tyrion and Varys in Essos Arya and FM training I think the Hound will be back Sam in Oldtown and Cersei's trial
Follmann
Who was the blonde man who went to Dorne with Bronn this season? God knows that wasn't Jaime Lannister. Larry, and they went to Porne, not Dorne. In Dorne, they don't hurt little girls. In Porne, everything we actually get from the story is a dead little girl. Know the difference. Faint
I for one enjoyed the episode very much except the Dorne bit. I would have loved if they at least included "fire and blood."
holycray
I didn't hate this episode, so that's something. I pretty much felt the same during the cliffhanger scenes as I did while reading them. WoS was really great and Lena did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed Dany's scene as it kind of gave me a feeling of Season 1. The effects looked much better here than they did on the last episode. I don't think we've seen the last of Stannis. We would've seen her finish the job if they wanted to make it final. FTW was hard to watch because it was... Jon, another Stark meeting a treacherous end. Sansa being in WF was such a waste and probably the biggest mistake D&D have made thus far. It literally served no purpose to her character development. LOVED Arya killing Trant and the scene following with her going blind. Edited June 15, 2015 by holycray
teej6
Maybe they're merging Jon's plot with Ramsay. Sounds exactly like something they would do, to be honest. Ramsay's AAR LOL
jelfling78
Oh forgot the Greyjoys too.
Cas Stark
" In the show, she's a fucking idiot sex freak incompetent nut job who has never been right about anything." ....who also has powers, but she misinterprets her visions. Also we have no idea what the circumstances of Stannis death and Shireen's burning are in the books. He could send a Raven to Mel or something that we didn't know about or something. Look that's nonsense. Stannis is not going to send a raven to Mel and say 'burn my daughter'.
Wizz-The-Smith
Ok, some quick thoughts, a bunch of cliff hangers, Theon and Sansa have potentially broken their legs, if lucky. Stannis and Brienne's situation seems too ambiguous after all the build up, Myranda got poisoned, and with the boat barely off the shore of Dorne, Jaime is gonna do what ? :dunno: Ahhhhh ! Clunky at best. Jon's storyline was portrayed as the old '' Ha ! Gotcha, the cunning plan worked !'' trick. And no hint of Ghost anywhere, not even a whisper of his name, which would of sufficed, even a 'where's Ghost ?'. But nothing. Obviously a Mel resurrection is sufficient. And no Wun Wun. Really, they made 100 % sure we didn't like Meryn Trant before Arya offed him, bit much IMHO. :( , oh well. However, looks like we're getting Oldtown [ as predicted ] yay ! And Cersei's storyline hit hard, without scanning the books, it seemed a decent portrayal of the walk of shame [ some artistic licence allowed of course ] and Robert Strong appeared. Overall, a little disappointing from a book persceptive [ depending on how you look at things, less spoilers ] but still good TV. :P

teej6
Yep. Hes not out of the cast, that is why. That interview is just BS on a stick. Looks like a troll and its a damn good one because some of you guys are buying it. Kit's coming back, guys. Also, Stannis isnt dead. Olly is also correct that Benjen isnt dead. That shit was foreshadowing on a cracker. I also feel like Ghost is going to be gnawing on some domes. The only character that might be dead is Myrcella. :agree:
flippityfloo
Has anyone ever wondered whether Melisandre told Stannis what he needed to hear to get him to do what she wanted him to do, and that everything she's led him to, she led him to on purpose? Maybe she saw exactly what was going to happen to Stannis and knew that it needed to happen because she also saw what happens next or as a result. And once she realized that her work was done, she went back to Castle Black because she knew she needed to be there for Jon. I don't remember where she is at this moment in the books, but I know she's not at Castle Black, so I've always wondered how Martin will get Jon out of this. I've always believed he'd be brought back somehow (because then what was the point, really), I just don't want Jon to be some Pet Cemetery version of himself like Lady Stoneheart... Arataniello
Enjoyed the twists of Varys popping up in Meereen and Ellaria's poisoned kiss. Anya's scenes were great. Sam started for Oldtown - apparently he is going to drive all the way, alone, through the winter. Cerise's walk of shame was pretty much spot on. Everything else was sheer flapdoodle. lancerman
Look that's nonsense. Stannis is not going to send a raven to Mel and say 'burn my daughter'. I didn't think Stannis would tell Mel to burn his nephew. He did.
SerMixalot
soooo myranda pushed on one side of the wall dies, reek and sansa jump on the other side and liveyup just about all I can say about this show's "Logic"
Ross2013
Maybe he's not dead in the books. Maybe he burns her in the middle of the book and dies at the end. Seriously? The battle of winterfell won't drag on for the whole book. I'm guessing Stannis may really be dead, and so that gave D&D license to really do with the character anything they wanted. Ludo Kressh
He says in the interview that he got nothing on his last day....nothing....well either the cast hated him or he got nothing because hes not leaving. Also when asked about the final shoot, hes like yeah I was wanted to leave. Really? Nothing happened on your final shoot on a show that you have been a part of for 5 years? Its a troll and they won't be able to hide it for long. And in other interviews with cast members when they're asked pointed questions they usually evade or give vague answers. This interview seemed too straightforward to me.
