King Tyrion I
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/james-horner-dead-titanic-composer-804365 So, apparently one of the greatest film music composers died. I like his scores. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.

Darth Richard II
One of my all time faves growing up as a film music nerd in the 89s. I'm crushed. So, so sad. :(
Mladen
Just after Sir Christopher Lee... Horner was one of those whose name made you watch some movies... Absolutely one of the greats. I will miss his music...
lady narcissa
It's amazing when you look at the very long list of movies and songs he was a part of. He's been a very prevalent part of our movie going experience for decades. I first learned his name and noticed his work on the “Legends of the Fall” soundtrack. There will certainly be a void in Hollywood movies in the years to come.
Ferrum Aeternum
One of the first film scores that ever stuck out to me as a kid was the dynamic and enthralling score to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, which was one of Horner's first big projects. Of course, he went on to even bigger and better things. He'll be missed, RIP. :(
Ser Scot A Ellison
FA,Actually, Horner was the composer who made me realize composers reuse themes, frequently. Listen to STII:WOK and the score for Aliens several themes are reused. Braveheart and Titanic have strong similarities as do Bicentenial Man and A Beautiful Mind.I still like all these scores. Winterfell is Burning
Why is it that people keep dying, man? Every day seems like someone dies. RIP, man. But seriously, stop dying.

Werthead
Very sad news. The first (and still my favourite) Horner soundtrack I ever heard was Star Trek II's, which was and remains absolutely outstanding.

Calibandar
I am baffled to hear it was another plane crash death for a celebrity. This seems to happen so often. Certainly does not increase my already absent desire to learn and fly a small plane.
