Outside of commuter/school shift periods, not the most pedestrian oriented place to choose...much more drivers than walkers. Was it just outside the subway exit? My gf used to teach at a nearby college, was there every day...for me personally it’s just where i’d get the Go bus or hitch a ride heading north, or walk to play in one of my sports leagues, so very familiar. But travelling as much as I do i’ve gotten used to knowing places where this kind of shit goes down. Walked the Nice street literally the day before that atrocity, for example. That, said, trying for a glimmer of sustained humanism, as horrible as this tragedy is, the way the police behaved in the arrest is kinda impressive.
