I'll never ever forgive the show for forswearing the purple eyes. I totally agree! Its my main objection against the series. No. Actually my main problem is that it will spoil the ending. But dropping the eyecolour-thing (the Lannister greens, Valyrian purple, the Dothraki almond shape, Stark grey and Tully blue and so on) was such a let down. He's described as being beautiful and bringing young maidens to tears, but I just can't picture it in my mind. Either with my own imagination, or using an actor or person as a reference. Though the cast hasn't disappointed me at all so far, this match is really important to me, personally, and I think to a lot of book readers as well.
