HexMachina Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Well damn, I enjoyed that one just as much as the first, going to need some time to digest it before I post coherent thoughts, but right off the bat I want to say (I guess I'll spoiler tag though I'm being non-specific) I love the way Jemisin played around with the characters and POV to completely change my perspective of Essun. What with your revealing of the news that Thorn of Emberlain is coming out next month in the other thread and you assuming for some reason that FoMN meant the next book and not Obelisk Gate with this post... First of My Name Posted August 27, 2016 Share Posted August 27, 2016 In any case, I'm really looking forward to this but I've forgotten a lot of the mystery hints from the first book, I should skim it before I read TOG.
