StarkofWinterfell
Before the update I had something around 470 posts, now it shows that I have 354 (355 with this thread), what's the deal?Has this happened to everyone?
Buckwheat
I think so, yes. I had around 4600 or 4700 before. Min said in GenChat that her count now looks about 10 000 less than before.

Linda
I believe that what happened is that the rebuild recounted posts and only counted posts that had not been deleted.
Swordofmorning
Darn. At least I'm not the only one. Yes you aren't.Apparently, I am down to 7 from 700 something. Hey Linda, is there any solution?
Linda
For the post count? Afraid not. The database updated its count, looking only at existing posts.
jobmartell
Thankfully I only lost 70ish from high then to low 600's. John Cuszack where are you!
Kyoshi
Mine still look the same...but to be honest, I never checked before. But I remember it was 2 thousand and something.
Lord Lannister
I believe we lost the post count obtained from September until now.
Linda
Correct. What has been lost are any posts deleted over the years as well, since the count was updated to only look at existing posts.
The Mance
Well that blows. And nothing can be done? Weren't we able to transfer, or otherwise correct, post counts when we moved from ezboard to the last board? I just lost something like 2000 posts that will take me another 10+ years to re-accrue, and I'm sure a lot of other long time lurkers were similarly hit. Swordofmorning
Hey Linda, when the forum gets updated again to have database till mid-october, will the post count reset to what it was at that point or will it remain what it is now? Kalbear
Heh. Ya'll aren't complaining about nothing. I think I lost like 24000 posts.
Swordofmorning
I think everybody's post count have been reset to what they were in the old forum. So, thanks Ran and Linda.
Magnar of Skagos
Aye, mine has been reset to what it was before the board issues arose. Regained back my 160+ posts, which is pretty sweet. Not sure exactly why this has happened though, because it seems like the posts and threads have not updated to a more recent time. EDIT: Check the Board Issues thread, and Ran said they've just updated the post counts!
