StarkofWinterfell
Mainly looking at the Tyrells here because their loyalties seem to change a lot. Should Houses that lower their banners and pledge their loyalty to the victors be trusted? I never understood how anyone could trust former enemies, even after defeating them.I say you go all Tywin on them like he did with the Reynes
Sydney Mae
Renly died. Who else would the Tyrells support? Fighting is their way of passing power and deciding who gets to make the rules. We have elections they have swords.
SerLinginBerry
Europe used to constantly be at war with itself...no need to condone genocide.
Good Guy Garlan
Dozens if not hundreds of Houses bend the knee after a rebellion or a conquest. If Robert had gone "all Tywin" on the Houses who bent the knee, he would've ended up with half a kingdom. If Aegon the Conqueror had gone all Reynes of Castamere, he would've been King of a vast scorched wasteland. Also, this discrimination against the Tyrells, man. They've only "switched their allegiance" after their kings have been killed, and what were they supposed to do in those cases? Fight the dragons that had just incinerated like half the population of the Reach? Keep on fighting in the name of Renly's nonexistent heir? Nah, if they turn cloak while Tommen is still alive you might have a point, but so far they're only guilty of being awesome (and killing Joffrey, which was awesome)Also:Torrhen Stark bends the knee to the Targs to protect his people: "Wow, so noble. Much wisdom. Very smart. Respect"Harlen Tyrell bends the knee to the Targs to protect his people: "Ugh, can you believe that two-faced shit? What a flip flopping turd. The nerve of that treacherous weasel. Bet he changes kings more often than he changes his smallclothes."
