LiveFirstDieLater
That night she dreamt that she was Rhaegar, riding to the Trident. But she was mounted on a dragon, not a horse. When she saw the Usurper's rebel host across the river they were armored all in ice, but she bathed them in dragonfire and they melted away like dew and turned the Trident into a torrent. Some small part of her knew that she was dreaming, but another part exulted. This is how it was meant to be. Ser Jorah's face was drawn and sorrowful. "Rhaegar was the last dragon,""The last dragon he whispered.""The red door was so far ahead of her, and she could feel the icy breath behind, sweeping up on her. If it caught her she would die a death that was more than death, howling forever alone in the darkness.""...wake the dragon..."And just who is this dragon?"She threw open the door."...the dragon..."And saw her brother Rhaegar, mounted on a stallion as black as his armor. Fire glimmered red through the narrow eye slit of his helm. "The last dragon" Ser Jorah's voice whispered faintly. "The last, the last." Dany lifted his polished black visor. The face within was her own." So I love this "wake the dragon" bit, and it's hard to deny that this is clear Dany=Rhaegar language here... But wait a second, Dany is having a dream about being in a long icy stone crypt with her ancestors... Targs don't have crypts! Does anyone else have strange crypt dreams about a long cold stone hallway filled with dead kings? That's right all the Stark kids... A cup of ice, a cup of fire, The great wolf and the burning man in Mirri's tent... Call it crackpot but she's a stark
Lord Friendzone
You can edit your OP and add any additional information gleaned from the thread. The symbolism of the blue flower in the Bride of Fire prophesy is a big reason why those who believe they'll be a relationship between Dany and Jon, well, believe it. It's a big clue although a sudtle one in many ways. It's a clue that Dany will feel something positive towards Jon. I don't buy that negativity thing going on, but that is what Dany will experience and not Jon. The whole HOTU experience is about her. And I'm not saying he'll not fall in love with her, because eventually he'll do. It's doesn't mean a romance...you need kinda both people for it and this represents only Dany's feelings. Also funny thing since Dany is the Bride of Fire. Her first husband end up dead, Hizdar or Euron might ends up too and you know what might come next for the third. Arya-Jon
Nope. Same way Jon would never accept to share a woman with another man. If they ever be together...only them. That is why I'm having a problem with people putting them in triangles romances or marriages ala Aegon and his sisters. I agree . But somehow there is a lot of inclarity in Dany's mind about what a head of a dragon is. Like it seems that she thinks that marriage can make someone a head of a dragon. Could I love Daario? What would it mean, if I took him into my bed? Would that make him one of the heads of the dragon? Ser Jorah would be angry, she knew, but he was the one who'd said she had to take two husbands. Perhaps I should marry them both and be done with it.So it is not necessary for Arya to be an actual head of a dragon. All it is required is that Dany thinks that linking Jon, Arya and herself by mariage would make a three headed dragon. The alternative possiblity is making Jon and Tyrion to marry her. But that seems too improbable to me as Jon is not such a believer in three heads of the dragon. It is still not proven what role warging can play versus a dragon horn etc. Like could it help free a dragon from a dragon horn's powers(Euron has one and may use it to capture it)? (Now people have talked about Aerys and Joanna of course. Tyrion may indeed have dragon blood. Or maybe not. But it is immaterial for Dany as she probably wont believe it)So the main reason this can take place is that Dany may have a possibly mistaken belief on the requirement of marriage to make someone a head of a dagon. So if such a thing takes place, Dany has to either really believe in the prophesy or convince hersefl that she can never bring forth a child. Or she must die and Jon must live.
