Resurrecting the topic! Sorry for that. :D

I though in more questions

1) If you were a Hedge Knight or a Mystery Knight what would be your personal device?

2) Did you based some events in the books in the War of the Sicilian Vespers?

3) Was Brandon Stark (Ned's brother) based in a real life person? If yes, who is he?

4) What was the fate of Blood and Cheese?

5) Which Kingsguard replaced Sir Gwayne Gaunt?

1) A good one. If I had to guess on this now, then I'd say he would use a turtle. He loves turtles and grew up with some as pets.

3) Interesting question. What makes you think of this?

I'd probably be so nervous I'd just ask something basic like 'Who is your favourite character?' haha

But I'd also really like to know if Arya and Gendry will ever meet again, and if Gendry is going to have an important role to play.

And that's what I want to avoid! :D

Thanks for your input. Twenty-three days to go until the night comes.

1) I believe he would choose a wolf or some object relate to writing like a pen

3) Brandon's description (handsome, charismatic, charming, seductive and wild) resembles the actor Marlon Brando. George even chose a similar name to his character. I would like to know if he inspired him in the actor.

Hey. Good observation. Never would have thought of that.

I would ask:

1) Are there other circumstances besides childbirth that a woman might be found in a bed of blood?

2) Under what circumstances would GRRM order three hard-boiled eggs for breakfast.

2a) When he does place such an order, what happens to the second egg?

2b) Why would wrinkled plums be a common side order for a breakfast of hard-boiled eggs?

3) Will Sansa see Widow's Wail again?

Wow, @SeanF is on the money, with his first question.

I would second "Why is Melisandre the most misunderstood character?"

Spoiler

Show spoiler from Episode One Season Six

Spoiler

and raise it a "How old is she, exactly?" now we know  what the show had to say about Melisandre,

I think that Martin thinks that, on balance, Melisandre is one of the good guys.

Yeah, she tries hard, but his religious fundamentalists are consistently dodgier than venal and humanist priests like Thoros or the fat High Septon in Game of Thrones.

ETA: If only because they truly believe in what they are doing.

Hard to find pertinent questions that won't end up with "you'll have to read the books".

I'd go with:

1) Will Ice (aka Oathkeeper and WW) return North/ be reunited ?

2) Will we learn the fate of Tyrek Lannister ?

3) What are the romances he enjoyed writing the most ?

I totally agree here, and that is why I am asking the  good grumps and snarks of this board
GRRM usually has a funny- ha ha response to people asking the romances. They always make me laugh.

1. Who's the better fighter, Arthur Dayne the Sword of the Morning, or Sir Twenty of House Goodmen?

Oh my gawd :lmao:

I'm sure that will slip if there is whiskey being served. I like it.

1.) What was that flying snake Summer saw at Winterfell?

2.) is Roose Bolton...mystical in some way?

3.) Was there a real world or historical inspiration for Jaime? Cersei? How about Tyrion?

4.) Is Young Griff who he thinks he is?

As Race to the Iron Throne says, Tyrion is probably a combination of Richard III and Claudius. And Young Griff... Martin would probably say keep reading.
