I doubt that Davos is going to kill Ghost, why would he?? he doesn't believe in Mel's magic, especially after what he's just been through, he will know about Shireen and Stannis's failure by now, he's probably rounding up the boys loyal to Jon with Sir Alliser outside trying to break into the room. They seem to be alone. And it looks like this happens north of the wall. Coldhands? White Walkers are imprevious to ordinary fire (ref. the Hardhome fight where one walks through fire to fight the Thenn and then Jon.) Wights can be finally killed (only?) by fire (ref.
